The IPL doesn't bother or concern me. I only watch IPL games that Rohit or Kohli have scored in. That too, replays.
I can however see how the IPL means so much to you because of the identity it seems to allow you to attach onto. Gotta hold on to that dearly bruh.
As for me, don't need the IPL for that. Got real life tangibles to do that for me:loserbangalorean
Congratulations Sandeep!
2016 was top 3?
I found it the most dull out of all editions.
I liked the 2014 one most.
Only silver lining of this one was Kohli masterclass.
IPL IS MY LIFE !!!!.
Bangalore < Mogadishu
Very sad.
Love SRH but really felt it was RCB who deserved it.
Kohli really deserved it.
What to do.
RCB has choking in its blood.
It's SRH who deserve it. Warner too scored 800+ runs and he plays in more tougher conditions. nothing against Kohli but he did play 9 games in Chinnaswami where Avg score around 180 there.
Also, Kohli had AB, Watto, and Gayle. It's a whole other story that they didn't fire when RCB needed them to, whereas Warner carried SRH on his back alongside Bhuvi and Fizz.
I agree with pretty much everything you said except the part about 160 being enough against RCB's batting line-up. I'd back them to chase anything upto 180.
My worst fear is that SRH will win the toss and restrict RCB to 160-170 and I simply cannot expect even an improved RCB bowling attack to defend that against Warner and co.
Who are you supporting btw? Followed RCB sincerely ever since the inception of the IPL. Need a trophy now please!
What you talking about man. We got 2 I-league titles. Let's talk football now![]()
Thank you bhai..
Who was the bowler of the tournament (Indian one) ?
In the end, Pawan Negi is the winner.
It's a fact. Bhuvi himself has said in some of his interviews that he's been trying to emulate fizz's yorker and showers since the beginning of this tournament![]()
U should acknowledge it too, otherwise u never know What might happen if fizz stops giving valuable bowling tips to Bhuvi![]()
This is gamble of not having a full time keeper. It is good as long as there are no edges and ur batsman scores for u. A drop like that, however (albeit a difficult take) could be the difference between winners and runners up

RCB need one of Kohli or ab facing fizz in the death overs.
Lol Indian domestic bowlers are utter crap.
In the end, Pawan Negi is the winner.
Didn't happenYes that was needed (One of them at the end). Maybe Kohli should have surprised by sending Rahul with Gayle
Bhuvi won the purple cap.
Mustafizur won the emerging player award.
That's great, happy for BK as he is the best pace bowler India have (Shami injury prune). Though BK was facing lots of injuries but i hope he will be fit now.
But is he selected for WI or Zimb tour?
Bhuvneshwar now after being the best in IPL it's time to be the best in the world. Do it for India.![]()
) Chennai fans trying to get something out of this.
Where's your team boys. Heard they didn't make it to the playoffs![]()
For someone that has never won a championship that is big talk lad!

8 Ranji Championship (2nd Highest) with pure local talents![]()
IPL thread bro.
Indeed! And people are free to comment on evacuation, if making fun of a good team unable to win a title is valid (South Africa too don't have a proper ICC title)
South Africa is the example used for RCB as well if you know what i mean.
Yes I know, but suspension is also not a good example for teams representing cities
Yeah but the players are not in doubt are they?
Of course they are not in any doubt (they are already playing for some team), but the management & fans are in a dilemma of what to build, what to support (Gujarat & Pune are top entrepreneurs and they are likely to retain their teams)![]()
Yes but its about what they did build and how they qualified for each and every playoff ever held except the current one.
We will see what happens next but the truth would be CSK 2 time IPL champions and hopefully we will build something again may take time.
But RCB is super entertaining throughout (except the first 2 maybe when Dravid & Kallis were around). Remove South Africa from World Cricket and you will see what a big dent it will be put! Similarly IPL without RCB will lose a lot of glamour and viewership (This IPL was thoroughly successful without the team you know)
Biharis,UP,Ranchi population associated themselves with CSK unlike RCB.
Poor Biharis couldn't find a franchisee to run a team for their city (Dhoni's home) Otherwise they would have had 2, 3 or additional total 5 trophies with immense local support under Dhoni's leadership (I mean the Dhoni of past). Chennai actually escaped a humiliation this year of what RPS got!
Sorry if I hurt anyone, let's stop it here. It is after all just IPL. India have a major task in Test matches (Vijay should find a proper partner maybe Rahul - Union of Indian Statesand Poojara should get into groove and then the bowlers...)
I can get to your logic then! CSK is just about a set of players who performed & won for their franchisee. (It has nothing to do with Chennai the City & Tamil Nadu people. Not even a single notable local player represented that team except Ashwin & maybe M.Vijay in the past) Why are you attributing the success to Chennai/TN then? If Chennai city is not selected (as so many other big cities of India don't have an IPL team) then the same team (which won trophies according to you) would have won under different city-label. Don't think Bangalore Team/City will ever be banned, only thing it might get into loss, even then another brand might emerge & buy a team from the same city. I am not undermining the success of CSK/Chennai, but not tolerating the ridiculous comments made at our team and city (Not giving any credit to the crowd response, RCB brand and Bangalore City/Environment/Camaraderie. Look at Kohli's intensity and the environment in the dugout) If RCB's choking is a shame, then CSK's evacuation is an even bigger shame (in front of the successes)

I don't know why there is so much scuffle here. Nobody really trolled RCB or its fans here after the defeat. I stopped caring for the IPL after 4th or the 5th season as I lost interest. This was the first season I watched after a long time, perhaps watching as a neutral was more enjoyable. For some strange reason, RCBians have this thing against CSK and I've seen many fixing comments by srini on facebook (as if Srini was honest when he was heading the BCCI lol). Atleast here it is largely absent apart from the odd ones here and there.
Nobody devalues RCB or any club for that matter. Even though RCB hasn't won an IPL, it's one of the most entertaining clubs of the IPL with a vibrant crowd and a colourful stadium. My only gripe is about the boundary size of Chinnaswamy and Wankhede (Mumbai more so than Bangalore as it has the added disadvantage of dew). I understand it can't be increased but it's really hard to bowl in those two grounds where mishits can fly for sixes (re: India vs WI WT20 semifinal). I don't know why people are suddenly up in arms against CSK and Chennai after this defeat. Don't turn this into an intercity rivalry as there really isn't one apart from cricket. Bangalore in fact was one of the cities which helped Chennai greatly during the floods and I've no doubt that Chennai would do the same if god forbid the situations were reversed.
Did you really find my posts abusive? Otherwise I agree for rest of your comments
