Super Boxing League Pakistan

Amir Khan is bringing a super boxing league consisting of 6 teams from Pakistani cities. Shahid Afridi and Wasim Akram to own some teams as well.. sounds really cool does anyone know more info about this.

I hope it takes off.... Boxing is one sport in which we have loads of natural talent as well as good popularity amongst the general population. We could easily win a few medals in the Olympics if the sport is given the attention it needs.

Didn't know the sad state of affairs until I watched Shah. I mean how could you represent your country on an international level without any shoes? The lack of resources and funds consumed by corrupt officials is mind boggling. People can't even say khaatay hai tou lagaate bhi hai with a straight face in these cases.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Waseem is fighting for a world title next month(15th I think). If he wins, it will be a great unprecedented achievement for a Pakistani fighter. Hopefully more like him can come through from Pakistan after this initiative by Amir Khan.
