Great hundred to go past Astle as the leading ODi centurion for NZ.

What a batsman and one of the modern greats - probably NZ greatest ever Test batsman.

Hope he doesn't retire anytime soon...

Started off slow but played really well. New Zealand's best batsman ever and probably one of the most underrated of all time. Has surpassed Crowe

Does anyone else think Miller's catch at 49.5 was clean and he let go off the ball, after being fully in control. I wonder why he did not appeal!

p.s. Take a bow Ross Taylor. Best LOI batsman produced by NZ.

Great player in ODI's and Tests.

Just lacks consistency to be a true ATG - can still fix that though.

He averages 57.46 in ODIs since 2014 with 7 centuries. Away average 64.6, neutral average 84.00. Dude had a eye surgery in the meantime. What more can he do? He's probably the best ODI batsman for New Zealand

Ross Taylor has certainly managed to have a highly successful career across all formats of the game.

Avgs 46 in tests and 44 in odis.He has got good numbers of hundreds to his name and played some good knocks all through his career.

The keyword is "since 2014"

He was inconsistent before then and still does not bat at a ATG level in Tests.

Still very good though and IMO NZ's greatest ever Test batsman.

Well deserved, he has the heart of champion unlike our chicken-hearted captain :ab

IMO he's probably our best ever ODI player, but Guptill will probably surpass him in time.
