Shan Masood: 2 wins vs England - 3 losses (2 vs BD and 1 vs Eng)
Rohit Sharma: 2 wins vs BD - 3 Losses vs NZ.

Batting: Very similar except one big 151 by Shan Masood vs England in Multan.

Imagine if first 3 matches by Pakistan were played at the wickets similar to last two tests won by Pakistan?

If PCB was smart enough to play Sajid/Noman in all 5 tests at home, give then spinning wickets ... Pakistan with 7-3 record in 10 tests, could very well be at #2 in this table. Thank you PCB!

Its not guarantee that they win all even with sajid and nauman, they surely gonna lose 1 to rejuvenated bangladesh and 1 to England plus difficult tour of sa is coming up.

Comparing Shan with Rohit at any stage is hideous. The washed-up Rohit has been captain for a long time and he just lost Test series at home after decades while Shan is in the start of his captaincy career and he himself is not on merit to be the captain.

Agreed, this is silly. What's the point of comparing their last 5 tests? What a way to attempt to make Shan sound relevant in front of a great like Rohit

At 35? What makes you think Shaan’s legacy is beginning? He already has huge losses compared to wins.

Cricket is a funny game... anything is possible. I am not saying it will happen with Shan but Mike Brearley (England) started his captaincy when he was 35 years old (in his 9th test match) and retired as a legendary captain with 18-4 (9 draws) record. .

Google Mike Brearley!

Should I also call it silly that you were not able to notice "in their last 5 Tests" in the title of the thread?
Just noticed at Cricinfo this comparison...

A great like Rohit? When did that happen?

As they say... it's all in semantics....

I compared the results in their last matches as captains.... co-incidentally they have identical record while playing at home.
I also compared their batting statistic in those tests.

Nowhere in my post I compared the quality of their batting, their past record or their leadership skills...... and more importantly I never compared them as a whole - batsman and captains. If I did, can you please point it out?

Comparing 2 players having a tons of differences in their impact and that too for just 5 games>???? WHY BRO??
