Eden Gardens -2001 remains the greatest test match i have ever seen. The sheer quality of cricket at display, the crowd atmosohere, the unexpected fight back, stopping the invincible streak, the ATG peefirmances of Laxman, Dravid makes it in fact arguably the greatest test ever.

I often wonder an alternate reality in which India had not fought back to win that test. Would India have become a force in worls cricket had that not happened. It really impacted Indian cricket immensely.
