I have a problem of leaving a big gap bw bat and pad which cause me problems esp inswing or off spin. What do you guys recommend.
Also what is the correct way of coming out of crease to spinners and nagging line and length medium pacers

come out of the crease only when the ball delivered is above your eye sight.

the reason u may have a gap is because you try to meet the ball without moving your front foot. (i.e. driving towards cover when your feet are still behind and the bats going for a cover drive) you need to bring your foot along with your bat too a little bit towards cover

whats the shot that u end up executing when there is a gap? this might give a better idea

If your bat is ending flicking towards midwicket, the gap is because u arent playing straight. Early in the innings you shouldnt be trying that shot.
