Tensions rise in Bangladesh amid anti-India protests, New Delhi flags security concerns

Isnt this business as usual for hindus in india..

They want a puppet in Bangladesh who will bootlick India and sanghis 24/7.

But, that is an unrealistic expectation. :inti

Bangladesh is unlikely to entertain another Indian puppet again. Status quo has changed. Demographics have changed. Young Bangladeshis do not like or respect BJP-led India.

Bangladesh's biggest economic and military partner is now China. Bangladesh is also warming up to Pakistan. Bangladesh also have good relations with USA and gulf states. This should be the status quo moving forward.

I have written this many times before. India is at the point of no return. A significant percentage of Indian population are sanghi/RSS extremists. They are similar to the Nazis from the 1930's.

How were the Nazis defeated? They were not defeated with diplomacy, roses, kisses, and hugs. Nazis were defeated with decisive military force. Soviets and allied forces smashed them very hard. I am afraid India may need to experience a similar treatment to become a peaceful nation.

I can actually see Indian getting tangled into a war (with China or a China-led alliance) and losing pretty badly. If that happens, they are likely to get balkanized like Nazi Germany did after WW2. :inti

Which of these actions are business as usual.

India does not falsely accuse other countries..be it 26/11 pathankot pahalgam or parliament..either pak militants accept responsibility. Or there is proof or acceptance by Pakistani govt.

We sure as hell don't burn our newspapers because we are angry with another country.

There have been riots in India but the barbarity on a single person is very rare. We have killings and lynching but hardly a crowd cheering burning a man alive... the closes analogy is the beef eating killing which is not commonplace.

I actually checked to see what was the big deal or so “intellectual” about this Hadi guy. I knew he was anti-India but that’s not a big deal, many Bangladeshis are. So, I wanted to see his “intellectual” arguments and his economic and diplomatic vision that caused such a threat to India that they had to assassinate him allegedly 👇 I was so let down. Basically his biggest issues is why do Indian channels or Indian movies release in Bangladesh 😭 ok.People are burning their own house for him. Anyway too each his own, don’t endorse or killing anyone. Also obviously English is not his native tongue so maybe not able to articulate properly. Too bad I don’t speak Bengali, @Rajdeep @cricketjoshila - whats the deal here?

This is totally jihad mindset.... his views are like parasite who likes to grow on others force.... he don't want to live or speak on reality or declining growth rate of the country.

It seems he has problem with Indian movies displayed in Bangladesh.... but he forgotten there is a word call "Quality". If he was having problem with Indian movies then they could have banned Indian movies and allowed Pakistani movies

I feel the Bangladeshis have screwed up their country now. It did start with a reasonable aim to overthrow Hasina's corrupt puppet government but seemed to have lost track since then. Now their movement seems to be slowly taken over by hardline religious groups.

It was already a bad polluted overcrowded talentless country to begin with. Maybe they would have had some hope if they managed to set up some tolerant democratic set up post Hasina but now they seem to be going to a point of no return.

Equation for Bangladesh is very simple.

Find Hadi's killers and give them capital punishments. Killer seemed to have fled to India but his associates (including family members) didn't flee.

:inti

So you want to execute the killer's family instead?

That's right sweep_shot bro 'but' his family members didn't flee, if you kill 1 person it is equivalent to killing all of humanity in Islam bro, so you shouldn't kill the assailants family members 😢

May be Hasina(however corrupt her rule may be) was keeping the Jihadee loonies under control. Now that she is gone, it’s free rein for all the religious zealots to comeback to power.

Good luck to BD. I hope the intelligent people of BD do not let the Jamaat loonies win the battle.

And then you woke up from your dream!!😁

It’s a daily process for you. You dream of India going down but day after day, the reality is that Bangladesh is going down the drain. Their textile exports are shrinking, GDP growth is stalling and political instability is increasing. As much as it spirals down, you try to cope with it and wish even more for India to become similar. And then you come here and post😂

China doesn't care zilch about Bangladesh and India-China relations are getting more normalized right now. We have our own back unlike your country which tries to hang on to others boots.

If Bangladesh can curb its radical elements and head towards economic growth, it will be in the best interests of India as having a dying neighbor isn’t any benefit for us.

:inti

Just to clarify, killer's family members assisted him with escaping and destroying evidences. So, they have been detained (killer's parents, killer's wife, killer's brother-in-law, killer's lady friend, and killer's driver).

If guilts are proven, they should get long jail sentences.

I believe they have arrested 20 people. Let's see how this develops. If any other Awami League leader was involved and he is in the country, he should be put down.

:inti:inti:inti

Is Bangladesh becoming the next Taliban/ISIS regime? I'm reading multiple instances like this of protestors waving ISIS flags. Good luck to India once those whackos take over Bangladesh! At least then they will know the challenges Pakistan faces when dealing with the Taliban.

It will be a hassle for sure. We are spending so much money to fence almost ~3000 km of border. I would any day prefer people like @DeadlyVenom and @Cpt. Rishwat as my neighbor despite their difference of opinions than someone like @sweep_shot, whi is more similar to hardline extremists.

You can tolerate the cryptic jibes and get on with your life but not those lunatics who suddenly woke up one day and decide to blow themselves up because their life is unhappy and think they will do a final service to their God.

Bordering Afghanistan certainly didn't benefit Pakistan’s cause as they were used time and again by the West in the Cold war and them fight against WTC attacks. Its army generals also didn’t help in Pakistan’s cause as they stand firm against elected governments but quickly go into the lap of the Western leaders.

Sorry but this post made me chuckle.🤣😂😆

Awwww sweep_shot bro is shooo cute sometimes with his fluffy Duffy posts 😇

Wait, until yesterday we were told Bangladesh alone with March to Delhi. Now it’s already China backed Bangladesh? 🤣

I would hands down have sane intellectual people that I can relate with as neighbors. Maybe if they have Pakistani backgrounds I would have more common cultural ties but barring that intellectual and similar professional accomplishments probably have a common ground. Last on my list would be senseless low education whackos like @sweep_shot or other similar people. Every post of theirs is cringe for many good Pakistani posters here and we have to put up with it for the sake of being good hosts for other muslims.

Matter of fact I do not trust Bangladeshis, I see them as opportunists. They stabbed Pakistan in the back in 1971 to go lick India's boots which royally backfired for them and now they are wagging their tails to come back for Pakistan support with the whole Islamic brotherhood angle. I hope Pakistanis do not fall for their Ummah nonsense and get to bear the burdens (political/social/financial) of yet another group at the expense of Pakistanis themselves. Sadly Pakistanis have been naive to such nonsense and have been fighting others' battles so I'm a firm believer of "Pakistan for Pakistanis first" approach.

Bangladeshis are a despicable bunch that are opportunistic and slimy. Bangladesh would have been better off if they had adopted Urdu as their national language and remained with Pakistan. But they chose not to, stabbed Pakistan in the back, and made the bed with India which backfired for them. Their already overcrowded country has now turned into a sewer in terms of environmental/cultural/intellectual/political standards so they are now shamelessly infiltrating our Pakistani social circles. In order to curry cheap favor they rant against Indians with the hopes that Pakistanis will forget their backstabbing. This is not self respecting behavior for anyone IMO.

This is the convert's mindset once we are in the majority :crush, kill, destroy, and impose our will. When in minority hide under the guise of secularism, pseudo seculars and leftists, converts are such a lost cause, they are lost for good...

Islamists have a word for it. It’s called taqiyya - meaning strategic deception.

When in foreign nations, they put on an act of deception showing themselves as liberals where they demand equal rights as majority, sometimes even preferential treatment in the form of quotas in jobs or subsidies in education and a complete freedom to debate against indigenous religions, freedom to insult indigenous religion in the name of free speech and freedom to convert them. With funding from Muslim and Deep state they infiltrate institutions to conspire against the very nations that host them.

Once demographic or political dominance is achieved, this facade is conveniently discarded, revealing their true identity, a far more rigid radical Islamist philosophy that calls for all other religions to be suppressed and gradually cut off from institutions and power centers. Any kind of arguement against Islam is banned through blasphemy laws while Islamists are given complete freedom to insult everyone.

Merely reading the above would have given you flashbacks of actual incidents.

That’s what they do. That’s the template. A doctrine that runs in the veins of even small kids as they’re brainwashed and fed all this hate from a very young age, shaping them into unreasonable and unforgiving individuals once they grow up.

@Rajdeep @Romali_rotti @cricketjoshila @Devadwal @Varun @RexRex @pillionrider @MP2011 @Hitman @straighttalk

This guy is an embarrassment for good muslims. He is the type of person that RSS, Trump, Netanyahu etc show as the bogeyman to sway their right wing vote base and get their vote base to ignore the majority good muslims.

If I spot this idiot anywhere in the US I will fear for my family's safety and I will guaranteed call ICE on him. A year in a crammed cell in CECOT (https://www.npr.org/2025/03/17/g-s1-54206/el-salvador-mega-prison-cecot) with MS 13 or Barrio 18 (El Salvador gangs) will get him straightened up.

This is an unfair generalization on muslims probably due to your bias?

Malaysia is majority muslim and has many prominent Hindu temples from what I gather? Indonesia is majority muslim and has many Hindu temples, Hindu state holidays etc in Bali?

Damn @sweep_shot bro ummah is not as strong as you think 😔

Agree. Surprisingly, South Asian countries despite being Islamic have thrived and able to curb radical islamists compared to the MEA region. And the less said about Islamic African nations the better.

I see sanghis are still going at it. They post all sorts of fabricated stuff.

It is sad they choose to waste so much of their time. It is not even their country. :inti

No matter how much they whine, they are unlikely to get another puppet in Bangladesh again. Deal with it. :inti

Another dark chapter is unfolding in Bangladesh, unleashing the familiar pain of generational trauma.

The brutal lynching of Dipu Chandra Das — a young Hindu factory worker beaten to death by a mob, his body desecrated and set ablaze from a tree — over alleged blasphemy reminds us that the forces of hatred and extremism have not been contained. This horrific act in Mymensingh, echoes the anarchy and atrocities that descended more than fifty years ago.

Religious minorities in Bangladesh — Bengali Hindus, Christians, Buddhists, and others — continue to face targeted violence deeply reminiscent of past pogroms. Reports now document thousands of incidents since the political upheaval of August 2024, with hundreds persisting into 2025: attacks on homes, businesses, temples, and places of worship; murders, sexual assaults, abductions, and forced displacements.

Even as the interim government condemns individual acts and announces arrests, the pattern of persecution persists, fueled by radical elements emboldened in the vacuum of stable governance. Brave Muslims, as they did half a century ago, have shown courage by standing against violent extremists in protecting their neighbours, yet violent mobs too often prevail, spreading fear and uncertainty.

All Bengalis deserve equal protection, citizenship, and freedom from oppression, whether from corrupt authorities of the past or the chaos of rampaging extremist mobs today. No one should suffer unspeakable atrocities simply for their faith. The evil that murdered millions and displaced tens of millions must never be permitted to rise again. In these restless days, I share the profound anxiety felt by Canadian Bengalis whose loved ones remain in harm's way, and call urgently for calm, stability, and the restoration of rule of law during this fragile transition.

I remain deeply grateful to our Conservative Leader, Pierre Poilievre, for his unwavering moral clarity and strength in standing with all Canadian Bengalis. As he has stated: Conservatives stand with the people of Bangladesh in this difficult time. We are horrified by the violence against religious minorities, including Hindus and Christians senselessly targeted by mobs. We condemn all human rights violations and instances of violence against innocent people. We call for democracy, justice for the persecuted, an end to attacks on minorities, and protection ensuring all Bengalis enjoy equal citizenship.

In hours like these, we must call for an immediate end to the pogroms against Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, and all minorities, and for accountability of the Yunus government. We must advocate tirelessly for human rights, religious freedom, and accountability, no matter how uncomfortable it makes those who excuse extremism under the guise of political change, those in the media that fail to reflect reality, and those at the United Nations too obsessed with equivalencies to call out violence and religious extremism.

To the Bengali Hindu community in Canada and around the world: We see you. We hear you. Your resilience in the face of hatred inspires us all. As Hindus here confront rising anti-Hindu incidents even on our own soil, your faith and determination shine as a beacon. Together, with real leadership, we will fight for a world where no one fears persecution for who they are..

I think Hadi trusted people too much. Killer tried to befriend him prior to his killing. He let his guard loose.

NCP/Yunus should have been more ruthless. They were too soft. Against Awami League dogs, you cannot afford to be soft.

If I was in charge, I probably would've ordered thousands of formal executions of Awami League leaders for corruption, murder, colluding with India etc. I also would've banned the party and made it a criminal offense to support the party. :inti

Jailing and detaining evil people simply do not work. They can regroup after a while. Evil people should always be executed as fast as possible. :inti

Anyway, this murder has united the country and that is not good news for Hasina's people. They are now hiding like rats. They have become the hunted.

:inti:inti
And you call Hasina fascist... 😂 You don't think twice before commiting genocide .thats why islamist need to be away from govt..else they will destroy their country like ayotollah did to Iran Zia to Pak and Taliban to Afghanistan...erdogan to Turkey and so on.

Careful what you type here bro. If by chance Canadian authority finds your whereabouts, you will either be deported or jailed for having extremist thought like this. Were you in your senses while typing such hate here? You are calling for genocide of Awaami league supporters but at the same time shed crocodile tears for Genocide in Gaza.

I know in real life you are probably less brave than a 5 year old girl and will hide at the first sight of violence but fake bravado online will not always save you. Be very careful what you type.

The murder of this man is appalling and should rightly be condemned.

All countries play the same game, idnia and Pakistan are no different. The less said about Pakistan given the current incumbents the better..

Mob justice is rampant in this part as im sure your aware.. india obviously looking to take advantage of the chaos.

Muslims get murdered in India by violent mobs left, right, and center. Indians should protect minorities in India first before pointing fingers at other countries.

Watched some vids of jihadis in mob doing violence, looting shops and targetting Hindus. Looking at these mob jihadis, India's village police can easily control such mob. However, Jihadi Yunus government not taking any action against them. It shows that have planned Hindu genocide.

Its high time for UN to intervene and send its peace keeping force to Bangladesh as Bangladesh's current jihadi government failed miserably

I feel bad for Dr. Yunus. He got himself tangled in this mess.

He is not some illiterate dodgy chaiwala politician like Modi. He is a world-renowned, noble peace prize winner economist. He doesn't need to deal with these at this old age.

He is expected to leave this February right after the election.

Anyway, people want him to take some actions even though he is scheduled to leave in 3 months. :inti

Hadi killing turns ugly in Bangladesh, Yunus faces ultimatum from allies who helped bring him once

Bangladesh is sliding into a fresh political flashpoint as streets heat up after the killing of Sharif Osman Hadi. A powerful protest platform has issued a stark 24-hour ultimatum to the interim government, warning of nationwide disruption if demands are ignored. Thousands flooded Dhaka’s Shahbagh after Hadi’s funeral, turning mourning into open defiance. With arrests demanded, resignations sought and sit-ins threatened, pressure is mounting fast on Muhammad Yunus’s administration.

considering ive listed many indian articles over pakistan hammering the iaf, 6 jets down, s400 radar blown up and you've said thr all incorrect.

how come now you believe the indian articles over this subject
Don't waste time arguing with trolls. They are given permission to post their illogical comments just for entertainment purposes.

Their sly deflection is pretty obvious - rationalize all the terrorism they spread in the region, however when incidents occur at home, irrationally start blaming neighbors. Cute!

Sanghis are low-IQ and brainwashed zombies. No wonder why a stupid moron like Modi managed to fool them for 12 years.

I generally do not discuss anything with them. They are clinically insane. :inti

Massive protests going on all over Kolkata and in India against what is going on against Hindus in Bangladeshis.

Jihahis and Islamists thinks this is 1990s and they can get away with crimes like Kashmiri Pandits. This is an era of social media and India is a powerhouse of subcontinent.

Aage aage dekho hota hai kya. Modi has not even whispered yet. Just wait.

They are fake followers of Quran, their reality is jihadis and Islamic radicals weakening their own nation

Hindus have never been more united than before. All thanks to PM Modi.

We have all witnessed what happened to Kashmiri Pandits and their exodus from Valley. The congressi chamcha govt never thought or cared about hindus. Anyone asks what is the biggest acheievement of Modi govt - it is this unification and sense of pride among hindus. Even Libbus are blaming Bangladesh.

Agreed with all that you wrote but what has happened at Bangaldesh is not at all in Indias favor

The biggest winner is Pakistan then China and maybe USA. The biggest loser is Bangladesh and then India.

With the wb election coming up and bengalis being united in some sense across the border..this is a golden opportunity for BJP to beat mamata

Yes but majority Bhadroloks have their head deep inside communist hell hole. So I am not expecting any political change and Didi will win again. It will be an embarassment though if Bengalis again vote for Mamata Banerjee this time. History dont give many chances to correct its mistake.

When will India protect minorities in India? Every now and then, I hear a minority getting killed or attacked.

India have become a very unsafe country for minorities, women, men, children, and tourists. :inti

India should be boycotted/sanctioned until they ensure minority protection. India should also be sanctioned for their Billion-Dollar call center scam industry.

Said this before and I will happily say this again - Bangladesh is the nasty smelly arm pit of South Asia. Pretty much the worst of South Asia in every aspect. Even the Afghans who take all the help from Pakistan and still hold animosity towards Pakistan --- I still rate them higher than Bangladeshis. Even the Indians who hold the most animosity and troll Pakistanis here, I see where they are coming from, as an aggressive adversary.

The Bangladeshi bootlickers? -- Why are they still hovering around Pakistanis asking for scraps? They chose to leave Pakistan in 1971, then stay away in that case! Bangladesh to Pakistan is that spineless cheating wife you divorce but the person she cheated with (India) was bad after all so now this cheating wife is suddenly pretending to be loyal and coming back for scraps. Spineless slimes!

Indians have used deepfakes and fabricated things in the past.

Always check neutral sources and verified sources. Sanghis are known to be pathological liars. They often post things from random groups with no checkmarks (unverified sources). :inti

Honestly it doesn't matter if BJP comes to power in Bengal...it's just trinamool turncoats..all the thugs will just move from TMC to BJP...there is zero leadership or change coming in the infra or economy of Bengal...BJP will focus on communal tactics and try to fix the illegal immigration issue. The latter I support but I would like a leader that has a vision and can leverage the highly educated and mostly peaceful population, proximity to ports and gateway to north east to bring in economic development. I don't see mamata or TMC turned BJP capable of delivering it. I don't have much patience for Hindu Muslim communal divide but stopping illegal immigration is a good thing to implement

Sanghis are posting various BJP/RSS propaganda videos. LOL. These profiles are of course intended for propaganda (if you check out their profiles).

Sanghis tried fake news after Hasina's departure too. Nothing happened. Trump ignored them. UK parliament ignored them. Everybody ignored them.

No matter how much sanghis jump around like monkeys, they are unlikely to get another puppet in Bangladesh again. Deal with it. :inti

They should ensure minorities are protected in India. Save Indian minorities from the evil of the sanghis.

No matter who in power in BD, the poor country will remain the same.

All India and world cares is if the minorities are ok there. :mv

Are sanghis hoping to get another puppet in Bangladesh? They are unlikely to get one. Old Hasina days are over I am afraid. :inti

Their fake news campaign failed 2 years ago. It should fail again.

Save Indian minorities from the evil of the sanghis. They face the worst discrimination in Asia.

India needs to kick out the 4 crore BD infiltrators and welcome the 2 crore Hindus from BD.
It is shameful that BD was given a country and yet 1/4th of their population is living in India.

Always be vigilant of sanghi fake news.

They are unethical, immoral, and pathological liars. Always verify when they post something. :inti

India is the undisputed #1 in fake news. See the resources below:

Agreed and good post. Bangladeshis are the lowest of the lows. I normally dont like to say these things generalizing a nation but that is my opinion after interacting with many of them and watching numerous videos. At least before that filth was tad controlled but now under Yunus Govt there is no holds barred. Just look at the arrogance of their cricketers and their fans. All of that even without achieving nothing.

No matter who in power in BD, the poor country will remain the same.

All India and world cares is if the minorities are ok there. :mv
They were not poor under Hasina

Better hdi than India and almost at par in terms of GDP per capita..it tells more about the pathetic state of India than any prowess of Bangaldesh but that's another issue altogether.

You blamed India for that Haidi guys death. His own brother is blaming Yunus government

"Missiles Not Far Away": Pak Leader Provokes India Over Bangladesh's Sovereignty

A senior youth leader from Pakistan's ruling party has issued a sharp warning to India, invoking military retaliation if Bangladesh's sovereignty is threatened.

Kamran Saeed Usmani, who heads the youth wing of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League, said in a video message that any move by New Delhi against Dhaka would provoke a response from Islamabad. "If India attacks Bangladesh's autonomy, if anyone dares to cast an evil eye towards Bangladesh, then remember that the people of Pakistan, the Pakistani armed forces, and our missiles are not far away," he said.

Usmani claimed that Muslim youth have become alert to what he described as India's designs in the region. He alleged that these "conspiracies" take multiple forms, "Whether it is in the form of cutting off the waters of Bangladesh, whether it is in the form of sedition, whether it is in the form of making a Muslim fight against a Muslim."

He further asserted that Pakistan would resist any attempt to impose what he called India's "Akhand Bharat ideology" on Bangladesh.

Moreover, since taking charge, Bangladesh's Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus put the emphasis on strengthening ties with Pakistan to boost mutual cooperation and explore trade and business potentials.

Yunus said he always preferred closer ties and added that Bangladesh and Pakistan should exchange more youth and cultural programs between the two countries to increase the people-to-people bonding.

Hasnat Abdullah, a leader of the newly formed National Citizen Party (NCP) at a rally in Dhaka last week threatened India and said, "I want to say clearly to India that if you shelter forces who do not respect Bangladesh's sovereignty, potential, voting rights and human rights, Bangladesh will respond."

"If Bangladesh is destabilised, the fire of resistance will spread beyond borders. Since you are housing those who destabilise us, we will give refuge to the separatists of seven sisters too," he added.

He accused "vultures" that he did not name, of trying to exert control over Bangladesh.

During the same week, India's Ministry of External Affairs clarified that it, "Completely rejects the false narrative sought to be created by extremist elements regarding certain recent events in Bangladesh. It is unfortunate that the interim government has neither conducted a thorough investigation nor shared meaningful evidence with India regarding the incidents".
