Credit where it's due...Thank you to our management for turning around the state of cricket. 12 months ago...we barely qualified for CT and look at where we stand today. All great stuff.

Let's get some matches going on other cities now!

P.s. is chacha mamoon still complaining about random stuff?

Without a doubt the best PCB Administrator in the last 20-30 years. Just like in IBA where we were in the dark ages when the other business schools in Pakistan especially LUMS were going far ahead while IBA was stagnating, then along came Ishrat Hussein as IBA Director and in his 8 years tenure totally transformed the place aggressively and got rid of the old redundant faculty backed by political figures, cleaned out the administration, introduced so many different programs, gave students a much better say.

Najam Sethi has had a similar effect on the PCB. He responds to emails as well something which no other previous PCB chairman would do.

I personally think a lot of credit also goes to Shahryar Khan. Sethi, while he has been a blessing (to some extent), gets more credit than Khan, probably because of better PR and being younger, but Khan has a lot to do with the good of cricket in Pakistan off late.

It's good to see cricket being played in Pakistan. Cricket needs it.

Why did he have to say "get ready for the Big Game at Lords." Kinda belittles the achievements he's just praised Ireland with.

I think you misunderstood what he meant. He means get ready for the occasion at playing at Lords since it is considered the home of cricket, well at least that is how I took it. Don't think he means to belittle Ireland in anyway.

I know, and of course he didn't mean to demean Ireland but people could miscontrue his message as it could be interpreted that this was a small insignificant game compared to the big game vs England.
