I am really obsessed with pace bowling.

Yes, we are going to see many scores of 330+. But, which bowler is going to survive the onslaught from the modern baseball bats? Take wickets, and be economical at the death.

I personally reckon, it would be Bhuvi.

1)Bhuvi
2)Starc
3)Amir
4)Rabada

Fizz would be butchered, i have a feeling.

Fizz is done now. I get a feeling he will be smashed all around. Has to happen some day when his cutters are more easily identified.

A big LOL at inclusion of Bhuvaneshwar with Rabada/Starc/Amir.

On the topic, I believe it will be Amir.

I would say Bhuvi and Willey, but having watched a little bit of the Eng VS Ireland game where there was no swing in offer, I'm not sure tbh. Out of the bowlers you have listed I would go for Starc and Rabada, because of their pace and ability to bowl good yorkers. Willey and Kumar kind of bowlers are just not fast enough to succeed on those flat pitches, altough they extract every little swing available.

Rabada and Starc are the best bowlers of the lot without a shadow of a doubt. Some other guy may end up with better stats but that doesn't mean that he bowled better.

I expect Starc, Shami and Rabada to be most threatening.

Bhuvi, Amir and Mustafizur should be the most economical.

That means they will have bowled better, contrary to the popular belief.

I think Rabada and Starc will be the main destroyers..:fizz Fizz is so done now. No swing , No pace. Some cutters wont get you that far.. :foreveralone

Its Bhuvneshwar. Why do Pakistanis keep referring him to as "Bhuba"

Anyway I think its going to be a close call between Rabada and Starc. I'll give edge to Rabada because he's coming off a good work out in IPL while Starc is coming off an injury.

Lol its Bhuvi and not Bhuba :yk

Rabada, gives away, a lot of runs.
Starc, won't be at his best, as he's coming off an injury.
Fizz, the least said, the better.
Amir and Bhuvi has good chances.
Amir, finding his rhythm in tests, Bhuvi, in IPL.

Let's see whether they both can replicate their performances at the CT.

Starc and Rabada are a class above. Rabada will shock many people. Hasan Ali will have the most wickets in our team, Amir the most economical.

Lungi Ngidi.

Yes you heard the name. This guy is only 21 and very fast. Mucher faster than Rabada.

It's only a matter of time before he gets selected for the Protea national side

He celebrates like Imran Tahir

I expect Yadav to be really good. While Boult will also play a big role. Starc will not be 100% fit while Rabada will take wickets but get smashed to all corners. Amir won't get too many wickets and wont swing the ball either but will be economical. Can't say much for the Fizz but I expect Taskin to outperform him. Because of Mustafizur, Taskin never gets the appreciation he deserves. He has it in him to be the best bowler from Asia, if not the world.

He looks good and has a very good build but him being fast let alone being faster than Rabada is all lies. He can barely bowl 140 KPH.

In domestic cricket he is faster than Rabada. In T20 game Faf asked him to shorten his runnup and concentrate on accuracy rather than speed

If he has the pace you say he does then RSA will one of the deadliest attacks. Especially with Morne in the mix too.

Good fast bowling is a deligh to watch so can only hope conditions would help the fast bowlers..

Best bowlers from each country:

Pakistan: Amir
Australia: Starc
South Africa: Rabada
New Zealand: Boult
England: Woakes
India: Shami
Bangladesh: Mustafizur
Sri Lanka: Lakmal

Amir doesn't even deserve to be named alongside those bowlers, Hasan Ali will be the best Pakistani pacer.

Best of the tourney will be Starc, Hazelwood, Shami and Boult.

Bhuvi 2)Starc 3)Amir 4)Rabada

1. Starc
2. Rabada
3. Amir
4. Bhuvi
5. Hasan Ali
6. Mustafizur

Australia has the best pace battery in a while. Starc, Cummins, Hazelwood, Pattinson. Tall bowlers and 3 of them get it to 150kph. They'll be a handful on Australian like flat pitches.

Why is Kumar and his bowling average of 40 listed alongside those world class pace bowling stars? Mohammad Shami, like Zaheer and Irfan before him, is India's premier pacer right now and a whole lot closer to world class than Kumar or anyone else from India.

Last time I checked Mustafiz was averaging 15.xx in ODIs. He is a wicket taking bowler. He will be fine and shut all naysayers.

Amir will do fine as well if our fielders hold catches.

My pick is Rabada tho, expect him to wreck some havoc in England.

To those who have posted that Mustafizur has been done- actually they don't know anything about Fizz.Fizz came back after a long time postsurgical rehab of his left shoulder. That's why he is as expected off color in his first few outings.Alhamdulillah, he is gaining his old mojo back.He has regained now 70 percent of his old form. In CT i think he will show some mazic.

Lol Irfan was never India's premier bowler. But yes Shami should be our best at CT

The main competition will be between OZ pacers and Rabada. Next tier id say would be between Aamir,Shami,Boult etc. Rest are just gonna make up the numbers.

Amir and Starc will be decent.Rabada will be really dangerous.
Not sure about how Fizz and Hassan will perform. They may take wickets but will be smashed in one or two matches.

I expect Yadav to be really good. While Boult will also play a big role. Starc will not be 100% fit while Rabada will take wickets but get smashed to all corners. If you're being sarcastic then this is the most heavily veiled sarcastic post I've seen in years.

If you're not then may the cricket gods guide you.
Like seriously bruh,
1) Yadav (out of all the bowlers) to perform really well :)))
2) Rabada to get "smashed"
3) Amir (out of this whole lot) NOT swinging the ball
4) Taskin best bowler from Asia :)) :)))

I hope the above 4 points highlight the ridiculousness of this post.

Aamir, of course, based on number of catches to be dropped off him.

This time, India have a strong bowling attack.Bumrah will be among the leading wicket takers. He moves the new ball, bowls yorker and knows the art of death bowling.

Fizz would be butchered, i have a feeling.

If its flat Amir and Bhuvi are going to get butchered. Starc and Rabada are in different class. They can still hold on to it impactwise.

Mark my word !! .......Hassan Ali will out bowl every single fast bowler in CT...

I disagree. Yadav did really well in the World Cup and has been in good form lately.
Rabada, like I said does get wickets but you can tell by his economy rate that he indeed does go for runs.
Amir hasn't been getting an inch of swing so, I'm not sure what you mean.

As for Taskin being the best bowler, I never said he is the best bowler. I said he has the ABILITY. Read more carefully. And he certainly does.

wahab riyaz lol...it will be a tough competetion bw starc and rabada but rabada will take over ..

Mustafizur, Starc, Rabada, Shami, Hassan Ali and Amir for me.

Why is anyone not saying Boult? He is a pretty good bowler and has every chance to be one of the best in the tournament.

OP Forget Cumins, who is a very good fast bowler. As far as seamer is concerned Woakes, Boult would be handful too, along with Amir and Bhuv in first 10-15 overs...

But Strac is cut above everybody else, he is best in the world, nobody has taken this crown from him in ODIs, since WC2015... Fully fit Strac has no match, unless wickets are wet with cloud cover, then many bowlers come int o play.

seems like Fizz is returning to his old form, so I'll be not surprised if he surprised lots of people by getting top wicket taker in this CT.

He will play 3 matches and your minnow team will get crushed each time. This is champions trophy not Dhaka premier league :91:
