Absolute disgrace and no wonder he looks overweight and sluggish 90% of the time on a football field.

Sent him from the England team due to a 'minor injury' apparently. More like due to his disgraceful actions.

It's a shame he never fulfilled his potential.

As a teenager he was better than Ronaldo was at the same age (2006-2006) but he never took off. From the age of 16-20 he was a dangerous player who had speed, would dribble past players and try audacious shots however that quickly disappeared and he lost all the dynamic exciting aspects of his game. From 2006-2009 he played Ronaldo's water carrier.

He made a mistake in going to Manchester United so young, he should have stayed at Everton for a few more years where he would have been given more freedom to express himself and the team would have been built around him.

If he had taken his fitness more seriously then he would been that player he was as a teenager for longer.
