you really make no sense.

plz explain the logic how is west indies at fault here? how can they be fined or blamed? You have been going on about ICC WICB being responsible yet you cant come up with a logical reason how they are responsible for mother nature taking its place.

They deserve blame.

This is in the middle of the rainy season in Guyana (which already is known for rain) and they decided to schedule multiple matches in the area.

Just a guy who was looking forward to some cricket lol. I can understand if it's something you were looking forward to but can't blame a board for this lol. I mean in ICC tournaments certainly you should hold more reserve days or shift a time to avoid rain but in a poxy series you can't blame a board.

Point still stands though, Hafeez gets hammered in second game in his first over, its obvious WI were going to attack him, and they continue to go with same strategy in next game, and surprise surprise same result. It would have been better to shock WI to go with Perhaps Hasan Ali or if it had to be a spinner someone like Shadab or even Fakhar to really surprise them. They could had been preparing Fakhar on the rest days. Unfortunately the current coach, captain are Lakeer key Faqeer.

You honestly can't predict these things i'm sorry. You can't look into the future, maybe hold them elsewhere next time or re-schedule the time.

while i dont live there, but read that it rains there during may to june and they dont get that much rain during july august
 
What a waste of money.

5 match series and only 1 match played. Must be historic.

Anyway congrats to Pakistan and Misbah on the series win.

I'm looking forward more to the tests than the t20s.

Sabina will be better weather. WI haven't announced their team yet which is strange.

Tests are only boring when played on dead pitches and batsmen from both side piling runs, otherwise they are much more fun then meaningless same formula T20s. Anyway each one for their own choice.

Looks like you have never watched a Test match in WI or at least not the recent ones.

If there wasn't a T20 world cup in these parts round the corner you could make an argument. For our prospects this T20 series was far more important.

I only watched the ones which involved Pakistan and I enjoyed them irrespective of results. Then again you have to be true lover of cricket not just hit and giggle fan.

What about this Idea:

When there is rain change the ball to a so called "rain-ball" a softer ball that cannot be dangerous.

Like they have a softball in baseball.
 
Match will resume at 2 pm.
Umpires will confirm the Reduction of overs shortly
 
The news from Guyana is that the 4th T20I between West Indies and Pakistan will resume at 2 pm (local time) and due to rain, the match has been reduce to 9 overs per side

Well you see. So far so many cricketers have died due to not so perfect outfield. Officials have to see larger things which has no place for Spectators who have been vying for any cricket for almost a week

some 8 or 9 over joke makes so much sense

what a huge waste of time this white ball series has been. 1st we lose a T20 game to covid and reschedules, then 3 games rained off.

i really hope the 2 Tests are better than this rubbish served up so far.

Hopefully Sabina Park offers something better.

There is the practise game as well to look forward to i guess.

I didn't see anything wrong with the pitch but yest on ground there were few spots. No point in repeating that Entire ground must be coverd that's the least expensive part.


There would be a 9 to 12 overs game. The umpires need some fresh insight regarding how to go about such shortend games which can be over within an hour. Just a waste of valuable time of everyone

WI is probably the most boring and uninspiring place to play cricket.

lets hope sabina park gives us a pitch with pace and good weather.

Yep, i think there was a practise game for the tests being held in Guyana?

Can't remember when that is again. Onwards and upwards i say, can't wait for the tests, a real man's game.

No points on t20 bilaterals as far as I am aware.

Matches were played at this time to allow viewers in Pakistan to watch them.

That can't be right, international viewers can watch at any time in this day and age. It's the local viewers who have time constraints due to travel restrictions.
 
The final T20I between West Indies and Pakistan was washed out on Tuesday, handing the tourists a 1-0 win.

West Indies had raced to 30/0 when the rain commenced, first reducing the match to a nine-over-a-side affair, before washing it out altogether.

It was a sad way for Dwayne Bravo to farewell international cricket in the Caribbean, with captain Kieron Pollard revealing it would be the T20I great's final international match at home.

Bravo, who will likely feature in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 in October-November, has played 86 T20Is for the West Indies, including 39 at home. In that time he has won two T20 World Cups, taken 76 wickets at 24.98 and scored 1229 runs at 23.18. He played a further 164 ODIs (93 at home) and 40 Tests (15 at home).

Andre Fletcher and Chris Gayle made the most of the three overs that were possible, with Fletcher racing to 17 off 12 with two sixes and a four, and Gayle 12 off six with a pair of boundaries.

The two teams will be hopeful the Test series is less rain-affected after three of the four T20Is were washed out.

Pakistan took out the lone completed T20I by seven runs.

Initially planned as a five-match T20I series, the fixtures were rejigged as a four-match campaign after the second and third ODIs between West Indies and Australia were postponed.

The opening match of the series only saw nine overs of play, with the third seeing just eight deliveries.
 
We stand at the very same spot after the series that we started with. Still no one has cemented the no. 5-6 and probably 7. Still no idea who the third seamer would be. Usman Qadir bowled a total of two overs, both were poor. Does Imad fit in the team according to the management?
Anyways, a 1 t20 match victory against WI still looks good.
 
Full series has been a waste as far as finding the players for the future tournaments is concerned. Did not get to test anyone.
