As you all know that Pakistan won't be playing any cricket for four months straight. How are the young players ever going to grow and ever have the confidence to play the world's best teams when they get shelved after just 5 matches.
Currently there is no series/tours for Pakistan cricket team scheduled for four months as you can see on cricinfo and other reputable sources.
This is the schedule we have for the next four months and then we say why we were ranked at 8th position in ODIs and 6th position in Tests. Almost every team is playing during that time except Pakistan.
While there is possibly going to be a T20 World Cup probably early next year and we would enter it without any proper match experience under our belt and when that usually happens our players lose sight of anything and return to old bad habits. During this period our players would likely lose all of the fire in their belly and go back to being complacent and forget about being aware of any sort of fitness.
Is this the best our administrators can do no wonder our cricket never improves!
Disclaimer: this has nothing to do with being a wrist slitter but asking an question about a legitimate issue.
