The Haka

The haka originated/ came from New Zealand (the Maori culture of New Zealand), not this American football team. It is a Maori war dance that was mainly used during war (on the battlefield). Now the New Zealand rugby teams (All blacks etc.) do the haka before every rugby match. Also other countires like Tonga etc. (I think) have their own haka. Search All blacks Haka those are the best hakas (better tahn this one).

You do realize that Hawaiians are polynesians too and Hawaii has a lot of Samoans. This is a tradition of the University of Hawaii.

I like the Haka thing a lot. Even though it's not a Cricket tradition they did it when Martin Crowe was being taken to his final resting place.

This is the real deal Hakka, @ AMAN

Rugby is probably the only sport in which this flies because apparently the Kiwi team is GOAT. I remember a New Zealand team tried this in an ice hockey match and their opponents beat them 7-0.
