He played his last international match in 2004 it's been 9 years but i think just like me many other cricket fans still miss him he should have played more international cricket who can forget his contributions for SA and specially in 1999 WC those 281 runs and 17 wickets...

Klusener is the player with fastest 2000 runs and 100 wickets in ODIs he did it in 78 ODI matches...

he cost SA place in the final of the 99 wc. A great player still.

He played tests ?

Although he was much better in ODIs but he did fine in Tests too he played 49 Tests and scored 4 Test centuries averaging about 33 and got 80 Test wickets.

He played tests ?

He was a dangerous batsman and was a pretty nippy bowler when he first started bowling in the late 80s mph from wide of the crease with the ability to move it away off the seam.

Why was his career soo short? He was a very good player and one of the best allrounders of his era.

Just like Shane Bond injuries were main reasons for Klusener short career but there were some issues between him and smith also when smith got captaincy...

This. Klusener's career was cut short atleast by 3-4 years because of his differences with Smith

he had a seniority complex and a bad influence in the dressing room (in that sense) alongside Cullinan and Smith cut him short to stamp his authority.
They sorted their differences though

Was a great fan of his especially after his epic performance in the 99 world cup. If only Donald had not looked back like an idiot...

Awesome player. Big matches brought out the best of him.

He lost a lot of pace and so his effectiveness with the ball diminished considerably over time.

By the end, he was a shadow of the player we saw in the 1999 WC. He would only perform in one game out of ten. From 2003 onwards his batting reflexes had badly diminished and his bowling was largely ineffective which made the decision to move on from him easier. It also didn't help that he was not in Graeme Smiths good books.
