The long list of players that we have made to look good

Zak Crawley, he’s been inconsistent this series but still his record is below pathetic if you take out his runs against us.

Runs or wickets against Pakistan do not count. We make these relatively unknowns stars for a fleeting period. Once these players play against the big boys, they get found out and disappear.

Mediocre player but seems to turn into Don Bradman against us.

I liked the very original title which was stating list of lullooos.

Give Rehan a 3 match series against India and watch him get pummelled.

Rehan is just a cheerful 18 year old kid who has played one incomplete Test match, he is basically a boy who is still developing his bowling and he is debuting in his first game mainly for the experience (the performance and wickets have been a bonus).

Rehan probably won’t play another Test for a while after this because England do not tour the subcontinent again until 2024.

One more....

Bas De Leede is good AR. Unfair to add him here. He did well with ball in T20 WC and has been in good form with both bat and ball in county cricket. Also he is very likely to be picked in T20 leagues including IPL too

Imran Tahir tops this list.

Guy was an average spinner but in that end of 2013 series in UAE the way he owned Pakistan in the 2nd test put him on the map as a world class bowler and shot his confidence through the ceiling.

Haven’t seen someone benefiting from the title in this thread as much as him, outside of Joginder Sharma ofc

But Joginder Sharma didn't play a single game for India after that game.

He is now a policeman.

Yeah I remember, however he’s still etched in history as the man who bowled India to its first ever t20 WC trophy, in the first ever t20 WC and effectively igniting the fire that will become IPL cricket and franchises as a whole…

It’s like a one hit wonder artist, but that one hit defined a genre

And at the end of the day he was an ordinary player that Pak appeared to look like a world beater

Credit to the Indian team for their progress.

Joginder wasn't an outlier at that time in fact he was the continuation of the medium pacers Indian teams were famous for. Prabharkar, Robin Singh, Ganguly, Chetan Sharma, & maybe the last of his kind Roger Binny were all in the similar mold.

Now the slowest bowler is Dube while Harshit & Hardik who fulfill this role can both bowl decent pace and bat well.

I remember when this thread was created with the apt title of long list of lull'oos that we've made to look good. That's been censored now.

On topic: Pandya definitely comes to mind. Average bowler but torments the living daylights out of our premiere batters.
