The long list of players that we have made to look good

ahh this Legendary thread will never ever die. :)

All cricketers who are failing or struggling to make it at international arena should be played against us we will undoubtedly save their careers and give them massive boost.

Lord Elliot is still haunting Pakistan cricket.

Played a match-winning 70 against us in the 2009 CT semifinal as well, although he was helped by Team Man dropping a sitter.

Boring, but enterprising cricketer.

We don't even have such players anymore, other than Misbah.

List of mediocre players made to look great by Pakistan

A few new additions:

Prasad( absolute garbage bowler)
Lakmal( pathetic bowler)

Add yours.

A few years back, we made Kulasekara and Thushaa starts.

Kula took 18 wickets against us. He used to play all matches against Pakistan.

Elliot isn't average, remember that innings against SA

Prasads a very good bowler.

Can bowl over 140, Moves the ball both ways.

Has a good bouncer and yorker.

Although we have played Herath reasonably well this tour - we have made him look far better than he actually is in the past...

haha. Legendary thread which hadn't been seen for a while.

A bit too early in his career to call Reece Topley a mediocre bowler, but he is hardly the next Steyn as we seem to be making him look.

Ngl we are really big-hearted people. All these bowlers who perform against us and then are nowhere to be seen. Bishoo struggled this whole year and couldn't buy a wicket and now weve given him an 8-fer!

To be honest Bishoo started his career very brightly but then due to injury setbacks and incompetent board the guy never reached his full potential

He isn't terrible. It's the fact that we gave him 8 wickets when he really should've had 5 or 6 maximum that made me bump this thread.

I think he has always been good.

He is as an all-rounder so him getting 5 wickets with his right arm medium fast in UAE conditions is something he alone isn't capable of in my opinion. I think we gifted him some wickets on a pitch that was good to bat on.

For the NZ tour one of the following will almost certainly be added:

Soddi
Mark Craig
Martin Guptill (mediocre test match batsmen)
Henry Nichols
Luke Ronchi
Doug Bracewell
Jimmy Neesham

Let's see which one we add to this thread.

Sodhi is a good bowler and Ronchi is decent in Tests

Team Pakistan

Pakistan is no doubt the best team to have debut against or if you are a good for nothing player

That would be his best bowling figure until he retire.

Wait. He has 3 more innings to bowl against Pakistan.

A guy bowling 120 kph pies takes 6 wickets against us

After the devastating Trundling of Marcus North, we might have finally found ourselves a new Thread Mascot.

Behold Grandhomme

Hain ?

In Tests, before the final Test at Sharjah, I don't think Holder got even 1 wicket in the first two matches.

To be fair, I thought he bowled well against India without much luck.

Obviously though he shouldn't be a frontline bowler.

He was bowling decently and the pitch had some juice in it but your batsmen batted like tailenders. YK was made to look like a total fool. What the hell was that stroke? :))

Pakistan has a history of making stars out of ordinary players

If you look back in past where ever pakistan has played against any new player in opposition the poor players becomes over night sensation. As soon as these debutats get exposed to better teams either they get dropped forever or surivive for 2-3 more series.

Grandhomer. We've made him look like Botham with bat and Lillee with ball.

Woakes as well. We always do this nonsense.

btw letting Grandhomme, Southee, and Wagner get those free runs was probably the biggest error, it's why we were 60 odd runs behind and now will crawl to just erase the deficit.

We speak as if Pakistan team planned this!

I think it's largely down to a lack of planning and research that these newcomers perform well against Pakistan.

I said it in the first day of the test match, Pakistan will make Grandhomme look like some ATG... It's really not surprising anymore.

They'll do well in England as well as long as the pitches aren't flat pancakes. Alzarri was bowling at good speeds today and was pretty good in general, lots of potential. Gabrial is quality, will be a handful on English pitches. They also need to play Cummins, he's good. Holder should go to #6 and play as an AR to fit him in.

Good but not 80ish-all out good.
