Maybe this is the way they succeed at home or maybe Pakistan's England tour did stand them in good stead

Not sure but what are your impressions?

Rubbish.

Southee has been horrible for a while now yet continues to be selected.

It's time to move on and give other bowlers a chance.

Why don't we give credit to our openers instead? Hafeez wouldve managed to knick one of the innocuous deliveries or skied a pull shot by now.

Pakistan's openers have been solid, but they haven't really been troubled in the slightest, mostly because of the bowlers inability to bowl consistent lines and get the batsmen driving.

They won't drive or poke at it particularly Sami Aslam. Sami is one Batsman who has got loads of temperament and having seen him play he has this fantastic ability to leave the ball, Immaculate judgement.

53/3 looks a good effort by NZ bowlers. They are finally putting ball in right areas and Pakistani batsmen are poking at it.

Lols they could have blown away Pakistan for less than 100 had it not been for Misbah.
So much for seeing of the new ball. When you only thing about survival this will happen.

Pakistan batting just sucks on pitches with decent movement and bounce.

It is also the longest batting tail in the world....

Rahat Ali looked like Chris Martin out there

Pitch was a green top and no teams today are capable of scoring runs on these wickets. Then again, most teams even in the bygone era would not score many runs on these wickets.

Would love to see them bowl on a flat track.

No you don't. Flat tracks are boring and they kill test cricket. Don't beg for flat pitches because your batsmen have been filling their coffers by playing on them in the desert and got embarrassed on a pitch with a bit of juice in it.
