1. Rizwan
2. Sharjeel
3. Babar
4. Zaman
5. Hafeez
6. Haider

This is the only way to make sure Rizwan's form as an opener is fully utilised, whilst bringing in the explosive Sharjeel into the line up and continuing to have Zaman in the team.

Zaman has batted at no. 4 previously, hence he won't be a stranger to batting at that position and him at 4 will also help combat spinners like shamsi because he is good player against spin.

Hafeez and Haider as the finishers is the perfect combo.

Rizwan usually takes time to get going. Even after a few good knocks m still not convinced of his value as a t20 cricketer

Yeah, but you have Sharjeel at the other end.

He gets going very quickly and needs someone who can hand him the strike, which Rizwan is very good at rotating the strike.

That batting order is possibly the strongest top 6 we can put out for t20s.

However, I can’t see our team management brining in Zaman at no4. If sharjeel is opening, it will be him and Fakhar with Rizwan at no4 which frankly doesn’t cut it.

That top 6 is the best Pakistan could yield as of right now.

Hafeez cannot be removed from number 4 position given the years he has had recently. Also Haider should not be batting at 6 as he is young and cannot be trusted with finishing a chase in tight situation.

It will be interesting to see what Rizwan can do in this T20 series. His ODI form has been quite poor, so if it impacts his T20 form, we could see the back of him as an opener and see someone else be introduced into the team as a wicket-keeping option.

Then he doesnt warrant a space in the oppening slot ahead of fakhar, sharjeel, rizwan and babar number 6 is perfect becouse he wil have the fredom to attack

Really cant understand how someone can believe that Fakhar the opener (who takes some time to get going) at #4 is a good option or Hafeez (our best T20 power-hitter) is better off outside the top 4.

Isn't batting in the middle order the best time to get yourself in before launching?

At least he won't have to worry about taking advantage of the PP and he has batted for LQ at 4, so it isn't something new for him.

Also, if Hafeez is the best hitter then why not use him as a finisher?

Pak have had a huge problem with finishing, so you take care of that problem as well.

Hafeez coming in with 50 to get off 30 balls would be an ideal scenario for someone with his composure and hitting ability.

When will the management learn, that Pak have always had a weakness in the batting department and need to play 6 genuine batsmen?

This is the only line up that works!!

Totally agree. Only a ***** couldn't see that Faheem at 6 was never going to work. Welcome to the minds of Misbah and Waqar.

Don't want Haider Ali to go the Umar Akmal way being used as a slogger at 6. The only way he'll improve is if he consistently bats in top 5.

If we keep having Rizwan and Babar both in the top 3 we aren’t winning against any top team. Sharjeel, Fakhar, Haider are available. Have to have two of them in the top 3 along with Babar. Rizwan has been fantastic, but you just cannot have both Rizwan and Babar in the top 3 together.

For T 20. For ODI
Sharjeel. Sharjeel
Fakhar. Fakhar
Babar. Babar
Haider. Haider
Hafeez. Haris sohail
Azam khan. Rizwan
Hassan Ali. Faheem Ashraf
M.waseem jnr. Nawaz/Imad
Usman qadir. Usman/Zeeshan
Shaheen afridi. Hassan Ali
Haris Rauf. Shaheen afridi

I won’t play Fakhar at 4. He needs some time to get going.
My batting lineup would be -
1. Fakhar
2. Sharjeel
3. Babar
4. Hafeez
5. Haider
6. Rizwan

Rizwan is easily the best batsman in team when playing under pressure. I would play Rizwan as a finisher. Haider would do well at 5, playing freely between experienced Hafeez and calm headed Rizwan.

Ohh my lord the delusion off our fan.

Why do people not realise that Rizwan is the best opener we have and putting anyone else ahead of him especially mr fat fixer, will only result in performances like we saw today

Rizwan is miles ahead in terms of batting and skill across the whole Pakistan setup with the exception of Babar. When will you guys realise that Shajreel is just like the others- a talentless, unskilled batsmen who had nothing to offer. Plus to add salt to the wounds he sold his honour for some cash and sold his fitness for some fries

I'd make an adjustment and bring in Maqsood at 5.

Hafeez down to no. 6 (primarily for his bowling) and if he can't bowl, then continue with Haider at 6.

Top 3 is fine and working great Why would you want to change that n potentially ruin even good starts? Its the middle order that needs fixing

Moving the top 3 around is not the answer In all likelihood babar n rizwan will not work in the middle order

We need to get in maqsood iftikhar and imad in not ruin our top order too

Rizwan, Sharjeel and Babar top 3 is what Pak need.

Zaman is a strong player of hitting spin, so him at 4 makes a lot of sense and he has played there before as well.

Get your best batsmen in the line up rather than low quality batsman like danish, asif, talat, khusdil and co., whilst someone like Sharjeel is left out.
