'The reason I want to become PCB chairman is to produce superstars for Pakistan': Shoaib Akhtar

Babar is genuinely a good human being even his detractors and critics would agree to that. Good people are usually loved by people

Once again, BA walks in and the roar....

Finally after Akhtar and Afridi there is Babar. A true superstar, loved by every cricket lover.

Getting some kudos for this ad

No it’s on how to destroy your career when you think your on top. When you think you are the world greatest bowler, but in actual fact you were are very good bowler but not world class. Shoiab is only pandering to his Indian viewers and doesn’t offer any insight. Babar has become a world class player without becoming a brand. His runs are his brand. Unfortunately in our society especially in Pakistani all over the world we are obsessed with what have you done today?Babar is a top quality player yes he has to improve his captaincy but guys like shoiab and the Karachi media need to stop their agenda

Tbh Babar doesn't really deserve to address the Harvard audience, what are his captaincy, leadership achievements? He presided over the worst home series spell for a Pakistani captain and has failed to win global finals as captain.

"The greatest Pakistan batsman of all time isn't qualified to talk on a stage" - some random guy on an online forum

What?

Bobby B has experienced a unique life that is definitely worth sharing with these futures suits.

Just to be clear - this does not look like Harvard - this seems to be some ICNA event.

Started as a ball boy with not enough money to pay for food and transportation. Led himself to being one of the greatest batsmen of this generation. Imagine the insane about of commitment and obsession to his craft that he has displayed. At 28, his story is yet to reach its peak.

Any cricketer who has played for his country is good enough to speak at Harvard. Especially in South Asia where you have to overcome a ridiculous amount of social and economic barriers to make it in life.

Sure, have him speak at Cricketing camps and have him interact with young kids.

But to speak at Harvard you need to have leadership success where you have won significant bilateral series, test series at home, abroad, ICC tournaments.

Babar presided over the worst home season for Pakistan and therefore he does not deserve to speak on the topic at Harvard.

It's good to see Babar & Rizwan attending a course at Harvard. Hopefully this will help them in their growth as individuals and also on how to lead and work as a team.
Btw, is this course/lecture in English or Urdu? I'm not sure how fluent these two are in understanding academic English.

It’s a worldwide program for leaders around the world.
