Was no big deal. It was Imads fault though. Rumman didn't say a word.
 
That's not a fight. Just a bit of ego from Imad. Raees' celebration is quite provoking.
 
Imad seems to start something every match. It wont be as weird if he was actually scoring runs.
 
It was nothing really. Would call it a minor spat. A jhagra is a massive overstatement.

Raees is trolling hard all his opponents with his celebration... is he doing purposely or thats how he celebrate in domestic as well?
 
Raees did nothing at all. Imad must be frustrated due to lack of runs

Imad is trying to be too aggressive in these PSL matches.Recently,he was sledging Asad and Sarfraz.Sledging only suits when a player also performs with the bat or ball.But Imad has been pretty mediocre with both bat and ball.

Yeah I remember when Sarf came out to bat in the KK vs QG match Imad was fielding at point and was mouthing off at Sarfaraz. Then Sarfaraz goes "kya bol raha hai, kya bol raha hai" and started walking towards him. That shut up Imad real quick.

Not a good idea to sledge your T20 and ODI captain.
 
Imad's attitude is fine. Need characters like him who dont take any BS from the opposition. Unlike the softies Pak had in past few years. He needs to back it up with good performances though.
 
Wonder if there is some on-going issue between the 2 players?
 
Imad thinks he is a champion when he is clearly just an average all rounder who isn't good enough to make it in team as a bowler or a batsman.

And thats what quality about him. He knows how to hide his weakness very well. He never shows he has a weakness. Which makes the opposition think he is indeed a superstar. Which creates more mistakes from his opponents.

don't think so he was sledging, seems too fake...i.e a batsman coming out of pavilion and someone sledging him straightaway seems quite unauthentic, not of a human nature...

This is all honestly pretty fake and in fun. They're all playing for the same team at the highest level and I'm sure they're just doing their part to spice up the PSL.

If it was real sledging, there would be swearing and hands would be making all kinds of gestures instead of being behind backs.
 
Funny incident.

Rumman enjoying teasing batsmen in this tournament when he gets them out. Imad not impressed though.
 
Rumman celebration sounds very cheap and chichori. Good that he had to pay for his over acting. No wonder he had only 4 wickets in this tournament before this match.

Those criticizing any of the two parties should stick to Test cricket.

Rumman's celebration is actually pretty cool IMO. And Imad's passion and swagger is obviously there as well.

Both just collided today, nothing else. Move on.

If I remember correctly Rumman Raees also plays for the Islamabad region from where Imad belongs. So they might have been teammates at some point.
 
Both players are not as good as they think they are.
 
Imad and Raees may both be sitting at home watching on TV in a few days while QG and PZ play the finals :lol:

We should get him next season because he is local player. Trade him for Amir who is from Islamabad region himself.

Raees plays for Karachi Blues in FC and also played for :kd.

I remember Ruman saying a few words to Sarfi when he got his wicket. Bazid mentioned on commentary at the time both players play for Karachi and there is some sort of rivalry. I guess that doesn't do too good for Ruman and his chances of getting selected in the team.

They are playing professional cricket at the highest level let them have a bit o banter among themselves......And quite honestly it's pretty impressive to see that the upcoming boys have the necessary fire in the belly to actually take the fight to the opposition.

You need such passion to actually make a difference when a team is under the pump, I'd more than welcome such a change from the snooze fest we've had over the last 6 odd years.....

Yup.
The closest thing we got to that in the Misbah era were Khurram and Wahab's air kisses. :)
