I was cocky myself about our chances. But after looking at the way Pak demolishing Windies, I think this is going to end this time.

Its only partial streak which is broken , the major part of the streak is the WC and I don't think it would be easy for us . Perhaps India would start with an upper hand and we would be little bit more nervous .

I still think it would be Kohli vs Aamir and who ever wins this battle would lead his team home.
Kohli is too good to miss out this time , so I see India having slight edge.

If they score 280 or more then for sure we are burried . But less than that there might be a outside chance of us winning.
Batting first I see better chance of our team winning , though Kohli will be the obstacle.

lol we all know well it never plays out like this is match situations . There are always some in both teams who love to perform against the other.

Indian batting can easily run away with the game batting first even if Kohli misfires and that would be the real challenge for us if India bats first.

That is a point that is lost on so many. I completely agree. Even after this 'dominating' streak, India has only 1 more world cup title than Pakistan to show for.

That is why I always say, such streaks in WC are quite pointless as its not a battle between just two teams but between the entire world.

I think I did a thread a while back in which I proved that most of India's WC wins were inconsequential group matches. The one that hurt us the most was the 2011 WC semi. There were others like 92 defeat in which Pak went onto win the WC, or 99 defeat in which Pak went to the final - Indians even celebrate those wins.



To each his own, but streak could go to 50-0 for all I care as long as we win tournaments.
