Lol Pakistanis chest thumping and being ultra aggressive. If Pakistan lose yet again, it will come to bite them.

Indians being cunning as always and downplaying their chances. If they lose , they can say they already knew it. If they win, they can mock Pakistanis in different ways.

I was cocky myself about our chances. But after looking at the way Pak demolishing Windies, I think this is going to end this time.
 
It will end 1 day . Inshallah it will be at the 2019 WC. Once it's ended , we won't be as nervous when playing India in icc tournaments.

Its only partial streak which is broken , the major part of the streak is the WC and I don't think it would be easy for us . Perhaps India would start with an upper hand and we would be little bit more nervous .

I still think it would be Kohli vs Aamir and who ever wins this battle would lead his team home.
Kohli is too good to miss out this time , so I see India having slight edge.

If they score 280 or more then for sure we are burried . But less than that there might be a outside chance of us winning.
Batting first I see better chance of our team winning , though Kohli will be the obstacle.

lol we all know well it never plays out like this is match situations . There are always some in both teams who love to perform against the other.

Indian batting can easily run away with the game batting first even if Kohli misfires and that would be the real challenge for us if India bats first.

When is the Asia cup schedule coming out?
Asia Cup actually means we will have 2 indo-pak matches can't see any other side reaching the final other than india and Pak
 
India has fielded better team in this century. If Pakistan can field a better team, they will end the streak.

You seem to be upset. Just want to recap to make sure I understood correctly. Indian had overall a better team all these 25 yrs, that’s the reason Pakistan could not beat not even once in the World Cup. Is that correct?

Kohli is a panauti for sure but pakistan lost even when the greatest panauti ever was our captain(despite them having their best ever team lol) .
So i don't think they are going to win.
 
I am having recurring nightmares about this from the last 1 year. Pakistan are going to smash our bowlers all around the park and then bundle us out cheaply. This is not looking good for us. :(

That is a point that is lost on so many. I completely agree. Even after this 'dominating' streak, India has only 1 more world cup title than Pakistan to show for.

That is why I always say, such streaks in WC are quite pointless as its not a battle between just two teams but between the entire world.

I think I did a thread a while back in which I proved that most of India's WC wins were inconsequential group matches. The one that hurt us the most was the 2011 WC semi. There were others like 92 defeat in which Pak went onto win the WC, or 99 defeat in which Pak went to the final - Indians even celebrate those wins.



To each his own, but streak could go to 50-0 for all I care as long as we win tournaments.

We will lose Fakhar in the opening 10 overs, Babar will score a century.... won’t be able to finish the match.

Faheem will score the winning runs.

The streak is over brothers. After what Pakistan did to England the other day, India have no chance against this Pakistani side led by the modern day Mike Brearley. Another CT final style thrashing up. Brace yourselves my Indian brothers :jk

The only way for pakistan to qualify is to beat india and this time it looks like pakistan will give their 500%

The only game that matters is the present one, games in the past wc are history. Whoever wins it, if thete is a result, has bragging rights til the next wc.

Indian fans should stop claiming non World Cup games are classified as WC for the sake of it.
 
The ODI WC streak won't end for a LONG, LONG time. The gulf between the teams is massive.

T20 WC is a different format, you can't conflate the two. 6-0, now 7-0 (in all reality).

To be fair to Pak, they won 1 match in 1995. But other than that, every time Pak played in Aus after 1992, they lost.

I am surprised despite ICC's lame attempts of an overkill of India-Pakistan world cup encounters the streak has lived on, it's been 29 years of India absolutely bulldozing their way through Pakistan in world cups. We are not even that good.

I can't see this continue any longer - perhaps the WT20 game in a few months is going to spell the end of it, but I'll be happy to be proven wrong.

Well, it has been put on ventilator with next 10 days being most crucial. Chances are slim but it will live atleast a year longer, if it survives this challenge.
 
Streak is finally going to end in 10 days. babar ,Rizwan and fakhar will destroy india on 24 October.
 
I envision Babar chasing the runs down with Malik at the other end. The streak will be over and we can finally focus on the stat that really matters, 73-56
