Wahab shouldn't be abused at all.

He doesn't deserve to play again. it's just not been against India but you look at the stats since 2016. He is finished

Ridiculous to see a few posters still wanting him in the side after his poor show and that too against India in final who absolutely slaughtered him in group game. Really some people are utterly clueless, even a kid would know that voicing for Wahab's inclusion against India is nothing short of lunacy.

Having said that, I believe he is way past his sell by date, his time is up. Its very bizarre to see an athlete apologizing for his bad performances on field but our players love to seek public's sympathy on social media and become the center of attention for obvious reasons.

Should come no where near the side as he has been consistently poor since that Watson spell in WC, only in Pakistan you'll see players given extended run on the back of one impressive performance in past and completely disregarding their awful form in the present. I hope I've seen the last of him in green jersy.

I am surprised no one is taking Waqar to task here. It is Waqar who has always insisted on Wahab's selection as coach and he even told reporters that Wahab was his blue eyed boy and was like a son to him.

Another feather in Waqar's cap, persisting with dead wood selections just like he selected Hafeez in the test squad knowing full well there were foreign tours to England, Australia and New Zealand coming up.

We currently have a good bowling up and raees is a great inclusion in the team, pakistan should continue to move forward with youngsters and I expect a really good showing in the 2019 world cup. He was a good bowler when he started playing cricket, but never developed anything in his armory since his debut, expect a slower ball, which has replaced his most successful weapon, which was a fast Yorker. We frankly do not require his services anymore unless he develops a couple of new deliveries and works on his line and length. People abusing him on Twitter were WAY out of line but that's social media for you.

No one can question his effort. The guy has bowled huge spells in the hottest of conditions (UAE) without moaning or asking for rest.

In the end, it's the selectors' responsibility. They should be picking players who won't get embarrassed on the biggest stage because their abilities aren't what they used to be.

There's your Answer !!! Jacket, friends with Salman Butt is one of the most brainless and talent less bowlers Pakistan have ever fielded. People who compare him with Sami have no clue how Good Sami was Pre-2006/2007.....

Should never don the star and crescent again even if he somehow proceeds to take a million wickets in domestics.....

Completely off-topic, but this guy has such a blocked and stuffy nose. Just hear him in any video and the utter annoyance words with a Noon Ghunna cause him, because that letter is partly pronounced through the nose, a tiny bit though. For example, "Hum achha kheleiNgey" is pronounced like "... khelegey".

I´m raising this point because I myself have one. I got a laser surgery done of my nose four weeks ago and it has made a difference of zilch!

Keep him away from ODIs and T20s. Should only play Test cricket as third seamer. In Test criket batsmen usually don't go after the bowlers and he can settle with his line and length and also use reverse swing.
