So, what went wrong?
Dhoni?
Team selection?
Wrong squad?
Middle-order weakness?
Big players failing at the key moment?
Something else?
All I know K@rma is a b!tch, they deliberately didnt try hard enough to beat England earlier and it came back to bite them in their back...
This world cup puts an end to the career of Rahul, DK, Jadhav, Bhuvaneshwar, Dhoni (unfortunately)... Perhaps even Kohli may have to give up his captaincy and Shastri should go out (for the dubious selections - both by the selectors and the management selecting players from the squad!)
At least we will be up for big change....
had they defaeted England, they could had faced us here and won the game and be in the finals
This what happens when you lose on purpose. Same happened with Paksitan back in 2009, they lost to NZ in a semi, and this happened again here. Back then Pakistan lost to Australia on purpose to kick India out
They choked as usual.
T20WC 2016, CT 2017 and now WC 2019. Stand aside South Africa, you have some serious competition now.

Obviously our middle order. Dhoni is past it mentally and physically( couldn't even put in a dive while running the second run, conceding byes ) and it's easy to blame him but management had no planning to find replacements. Dhoni, Jadhav and DK should be nowhere near the squad.
Credit to NZ, great bowling up front.

1. Spineless selection committee.
2. Nepotistic management
3. Duffer captain who can't captain or select the right XI
4. Politican
5. No real planning (just chop and change for years)
It was all expected.
The writing was on the wall.
It was just that if things went our way, we could have won the WC.
But in a WC....that rarely happens.
A lineup like 2011 Indian team had to fight tooth and nail to win the WC.
You can't expect to carry so many passengers and expect to win a WC.
Usually I don't get this many predictions right but this time, it happened. Even I am surprised cos I always expect a few things to flop.
1. Bumrah - Bhuvi - Pandya is a risky bowling attack. Been saying it since 2017. Check
2. Dhoni will be a burden. Check (yes he played better than my expectations but no intent earlier so it was too much...moreover Jaddu's knock made his contribution look WAY better than what it was).
3. NZ is a riskier team for India in a knockout. Check
4. We give too much leeway to Kohli when it comes to knockout performance. He hasn't been impactful in WCs. Check
5. Wrist spin is not the holy grail. Check
Ever since CT loss and the subsequent rise of Chahal and Kuldeep, I have noticed one trend among Indian fans. They directed a lot of abuse towards Jaddu and Ashwin (valid criticisms are different), calling them all names, forgetting their past performances in clutch moments. They were drunk with the success Kulcha got and forgot the past. Ironically, it was Kulcha who flopped and Jaddu-Santner (finger spinners) who did well here.
This is not to say backing Kulcha was wrong (it was the right move considering pitches were getting flatter and the previous spin twins had taken their places for granted) but I am merely pointing out the unfair treatment just because you saw some results in bilaterals (mostly played on turners).
Inside sources are telling me there is grouping in the team.
Dhoni and Kohli don’t talk to each other
The players along with Dhoni took an on oath on a bottle of beard wax that they will not cooperate with Kohli disrespects them.
Coach and team not on same page as Shastri prefers Corona, not Guinness
Team manager and family were seen traveling first class.

Losing to England has been their downfall. They would have easily smashed Pakistan in Semi final.

Indian team needed to be brought back down to Earth considering their performances on flatbeds. They will never be the best side in the World unless they learn how to negotiate swing and bowler friendly conditions. Same goes for Rohit Sharma. About time Indian fans learn he is the biggest flat track bully to ever play for them.
Kohli and Rohit failed today. India missed Dhawan badly so who is beast in ICC tournaments.
You get their top 3 (Dhawan, Rohit and Kohli) dismiss early and rest of the Indian team is as mediocre as Sri lanka and Pakistan. India is a top ranked team due to these three and Bumrah only.
It all started with that advertisement featuring Pant and Kohli where Pant says ‘because he says so’.
Anyways, this is a great victory for the cricket fraternity.
Team was resting on Rohit's form. The one match he flopped the team also flopped.
Kya howa agar semi haar gaye... atleast Kohli is cool guy and pimple free)
