He is overrated bro.. People are tyring to shove him in the team in the name of modern day batting but he is nowhere near to be a good consistent player.

I disagree with some posters here on Nawaz being a no 4, I believe he's better suited to no 5. This dude isnt just a spin basher. He scored a 44 ball 100 against pacers vs NZ in seaming conditons.

He is just not suited to opening as he struggles with early swing and seam. He has no issues facing any delivery after 10 overs are bowled.

If Pakistan grow a pair and actually use Nawaz properly in tests, odi and t20, he can be the Pakistani version of Brook but only if they use and future his talent to the fullest.

Shahizada Farhan, Hasan Nawaz, Muhammad Haris(As a finisher in odi, no 3 in t20), Saim Ayub(Although I am getting sick of saim failing 24/7), And Salman Ali Agha should be locked and loaded for every format.

In odi and tests its time to give Kamran Ghulam a go.

Babar needs to pull up his socks now. Stats wise he still has a 54 avg in odi and a 42 avg in tests which on paper isnt bad. But Pakistan cannot carry a 36 avg batter who has weaker strike rates then washed up Odi Steve Smith's.

True... Agreed here... Nawaz's position at 5 is perfect. He can also build inning like we have seen in 2nd ODI. He is not just the basher, He can stay on the crease... I like his approach. Just don't want him to throw away the chance he has got now.. He can be th main pillar of our middle order.

2) Saim Ayub
3) Babar (Continue for now)
4) Salman Ali Agha (Promote to no 4)
5) Hasan Nawaz
6) Kamran Ghulam
7) Muhammad Haris(Tulla's are fine at no 7)

imo better to replace Hussain Talat for Kamran Ghulam as I believe Ghulam despite the criticism is still a better batsmen then Talat.

Issue is Ghulam is not a no 3, he is a no 4, but Agha is a better odi batsmen then Ghulam and Babar doesnt have a ready made no 3 replacement available.

Either way one of Agha and Ghulam need to shift to no 4 and no 6.

Hasan Nawaz should stay locked and loaded at 5 in all formats. He also has the technique to play test cricket. Despite lack of experience its time to give him the Sam Konstas treatment as unlike Konstas, Nawaz is more talented then he is.

Some players just have natural talent and nawaz is one of them.

Babar was always cited as the replacement regardless if whether it makes sense or not.

Their are chances that Bobby doesnt make it however due to his disastrous wi campaign, in which case Haris, Farhan and Saim will be locked in as our opening + no 3 combo.

But at present ik Babar is trying his level best, to make it back into the t20 side. Their are reports(not sure, maybe @Ice Man can confirm) that BBL isnt too happy with some players like babar making into the league based of agency and word of mouth recommendations and skipping payment drafts altogether.

There was a report yesterday from 2 ITK journalists that Fakhar will be back. He is the management’s number 1 choice.

The issue is people don't like using logic to argue and just peddle around van goh narratives.

Babar's strike rate is lower then Post 2021 Steve Smith in odi. Steve Smith post 2021 was washed up and its acknowledged that it's arguably one of the biggest mistakes Australia made. Only now they have course corrected by bringing in Owen, Green, prompting David at no 5, Promoting Marsh with Head etc etc.

Secondly despite the loss of form Smith was still avg a touch above 40 and striking at 83.

Babar these past 2 years has been avg 36 with a sr thats i believe 78.

Huge huge difference.

This is not 2019 where he was avg 61 with a sr of 89. People dont get thism

Haven't come across such reports yet, mate. However, they are looking to overhaul BBL in general.
