Yes,from 2011-2015 he was best odi batsman for Pak
I am not denying that he didn't make much of an impact but he wasn't as bad as Shafiq is in tests

Hmm, I also found the Hafeez lobby rather infuriating. Maybe channels just want TTFs to be in the team, so that they can have plenty of masaledar content when the team inevitably flops.

No its not. Reminds me of mohammed Yousuf who in 1st half of his career would always score soft runs or hundreds when game had gone and would fail in pressure situations.
