I do not care who wins, I just want to see some good cricket. Although it will be hilarious if New Zealand win the final especially if Pakistan is on the receiving end, considering the amount of abuse and insults Pakistani fans, media, ex-players have hurled at the New Zealand players.
New Zealand is a polite nation so they will not rub it in, but if it was some other team they would really troll Pakistan hard and solve the security issue once and for all.

NZ rightly got abuse after they ran off after receiving fake security intel. You even hear there ex players and commentators been apologetic everytime pakistan is mentioned because everyone knows they made a huge issue out of nothing. Hopefully they will get a good beating in the final.

The players were following the orders of the NZ government. They will do what they are told. Do you expect them to defy the orders of the government and play?
Pakistan should direct the criticism and hatred at the New Zealand government. Chanting “security issue solved” at the players and trolling the fielders on the boundary was pathetic.
If New Zealand wins I hope their fans give Pakistani fans a taste of their own medicine.

Think the Pak fans are overdoing it with the security taunts and barbs at the NZ team.
Completely agree. Obviously, I don't want Pakistan to lose to NZ if we play the final against them, but it would serve the "security security" brigade right. Pakistani fans have been very obnoxious on social media and in the stands. The "security" shouts at such a nice bunch of guys and the match-fixing allegations have somewhat dimmed my enjoyment of the team's performance so far.

It was embarrassing but this is part of sport. The stuff that the Barmy Army has done for Aussie cricketers has been a lot more vindictive and obnoxious.
I feel they will want Pak in the final having lost to us in the group match. They would want to avoid the Aussies who mostly do them in crucial matches. NZ are not an overrated and overhyped side like India, they are much better then India without boasting about it.

On paper, this NZ batting is among the weakest they've fielded since 1999 yet they have batted out of their skins to get here. Regardless of what anyone says this has been a world cup of bowlers. If NZ's bowlers falter in the final regardless of who their opponents are, they won't win.
A lot depends on who they will be facing.
