They're not good enough anymore. That's why they're retiring. It's not like they're versing a minnow either. It's WI in WI.
Who is Pakistan's top scorer this series ;0
The guy himself wants to retire, but you want him to stay. This is international cricket not an oldies golf club.
#smh
Was quite a frail last stand and they have let their team down once again
What a .......................
Kuch nai
Last time I checked score is 70/5 couldn't even make a 50 partnership.

Let's see one last century knock for old times sake.![]()
A big part of Pakistan cricket has died with the departure of these two legends, can't thank them enough for their contributions and apologise for all the lack of support and love from disgraceful fans who never appreciated them. But their legacy's have been cemented among the all time greats and the world recognised their feats which is what matters in the end. #ThankYou #LordMisbah #KingKhan

Atlast something majority Pakistanis especially those born in Pakistan need to post but they won't. Thank you Shaz. Thank you.
Today a significant sample size of Pakistani's is getting exposed on this forum. Divided nation who needs Earthquakes and floods to unite. A thankless nation who can't appreciate honest servants of pakistan and utter and post disgraceful stuff.
Leaders are the mirror image of Nation. Let us keep suffering.

No, thank you! there are millions just like me beyond Pakistan who appreciate and love Khan/Misbah but not many like you in Pakistan sadly
So, Misbah was Pakistan's top scorer in his final test series.

He retired from ODIs as Pakistan's top scorer in the 2015 World Cup.

In his final T20 series, against England in 2012, Misbah was...well, you can guess.

Emotions got hold of me unfortunately. Sorry to Ppers but most comments I read in those 2 hours were anti Misbah and anti Younis. Some very harsh. Anyhow there will be millions supporters aswell. Majority on their side ? Well I don’t think so.
We had a terrible World Cup. We got knocked out badly. It was embarassing. But still I did not forget Inzamam ul Haq's services for Pakistan Cricket. When he got out there were tears in the eyes of a school boy. I may be wrong but one should not ignore overall services/performances. Hope we win this.
I totally agree wish more were like you, I've been dealing with such posters for a while now so it has become the norm for me. I expected civil behaviour at least during this time but not much else to say about that unfortunately.
I still remember Younis's and Misbah's debut. Actually my friend Rayyman's post ticked me off completely![]()
Use the ignore user feature, it's good for your blood pressure.
Yes I know that option but I haven't ever put any user in ignore list. I bear patiently whatever comes my way.
It was an adrenaline rush![]()

I used to try and reason with them but it's not worth it. Some people care less about the game and more about making fools of themselves with passive-aggressive comments or plain ignorance, I've decided to save my time for those who actually want to discuss cricket.
Younis is my all-time favourite Pakistan batsman.
And I admire how much Misbah got from such a limited technique.
But in the last five years, they have played 14 Tests together outside Asia batting at Number 4 and Number 5.
They have failed to make a single 100 partnership in those 28 innings across 4 years and 4 months, and I can't remember any 50 partnerships either, although there may have been one or two small ones.
That tells me that they went on far too long. We should not airbrush that out of history.
I was just looking at the last games for some players and I just realised I was at the ground for Inzi's only T20 game. That was when Asif bowled the first ever international T20 wicket maiden and I had completely forgotten.
I was scrolling through the scorecard and suddenly "Hold on a minute...I was there!"![]()

Did you go to the game in 06 I think where Saj Mahmood won man of the match against Pakistan and everyone was very angryEd Joyce was bowled by Asif leaving a delivery, what a talent he was really enjoyed that moment; am lucky to have seen big inzi, moyo and khan (top scored) bat together; was a bacha then so didn't appreciate the moment as much as I should have but always got confused by the crazy support for Afridi because as he walked out to bat and you went to the loo, he'd be walking back to the pavilion when you returned
That marks the end of the 90s boys......
The titan era has officially ended- Although I know we need to move on from the nostalgia of the glory days a part of me is a bit sad....
Anyways here's to hoping Pakistan goes from strength to strength moving forward !!
Neither Misbah nor Younis played for Pakistan in the 90's but yeah, this is the end of an era for sure.
I understand that, both of them debuted in the year 2000 however, their careers intertwined with the latter part of the 90s Titans who were having their final hurrahs and will always be my heroes. That is why the retiring of these two blokes marks it the official ending of the boys who I literally saw growing up in that era.
As for Misbah and Younis, I wish them all the best in the up coming endeavors and hope they have successful flourishing careers in which ever walk of life they might choose for themselves.
