Yes the series loss against Bangladesh was disappointing but people are missing the bigger picture here. This team of future stars are capable of becoming world beaters. It might sound crazy now but it isn't. The likes of Mohammad Rizwan and Saad Nasim have proved just that. In 2 ODIs these players have managed to score 50s when the senior members like Hafeez weren't able to do nothing. They are young and look like they are willing to learn. We have Ajmal and Babar in the line up now but we have even better replacements in the likes of Shahzaib Ahmed and Zafar Gohar both of whom are performing brilliantly on the domestics. Babar Azam an Mukhtar Ahmed have been selected but their domestic stats prove they are capable of hanging with the big boys. We also have the likes of Amir who will pounce on the very opportunity when his ban ends. He is ripping through the domestic teams and has shown he is capable of doing it on international level. He's still 23 which makes it even better.
In another way this is a step forward and moving on, instead of falling back to players like
(same old same old) we can look forward to what seems to be a more talented generation.
I guarantee Pakistan will become a team to beat by the next two years. It only takes a little patience and Toil (as the Bangladeshis learnt first hand) and Pakistan cricket will blossom.
