Noticed recently there is a debate in England whether they should allow Kohli to play CC in England as it would help him acclimatise before the series.

Conversely, our frontline test bowlers are doing county stints, letting England batsman have a good long look at you and practice against you in the nets (A.Cook at Essex where Amir played) . Advantage served?

County stints, have always been a good thing for our player's development, as England has one of the best player development programs.

Plus it will help them get adjusted to conditions, that is the sole reason Kohli is playing.

Your point is valid, but in my opinion it has more pros than cons.

Part and parcel of the game. Yes, facing each other in nets you will get to learn a few stuff about each other, but at the end of the day, in international cricket it's about putting what you know into practice, you can know weaknesses and strengths of bowlers/batsmen but scoring runs/getting wickets is something else

So Kohli would acclimatize before the series, while Amir would get worked out?

Why isnt the opposite possible?

English bowlers will also get a long look at Kohli in nets and in matches, as well as England's coach who may work out plans to get him out.

Or it is possible Amir will acclimatize and get used to the lengths you have to bowl on English wickets before the important test series.

I don't think Amir is currently a part of the county circuit, but he was last year, which is a long time ago. Anyway, he had some great performances for Essex during that time.

Abbas and his work in the counties will be very important. Currently he has 2 wickets against Sussex (following a two-for against a Loughsborough university side) and the lowest ER of any of the Leicestershire bowlers. Long may it continue.

Players of different nationality practice together anyways because of different T20 leagues..
