Brady aids his team once again to a superbowl win tonight. His GOAT status in the country and in the world is already cemented.

Jahangir is untouchable records-wise in his craft to this day, years and years after retirement.

I didn't know who Brady is lol also his sport enjoys popularity mostly in the US. Khan is the bigger global name and also given how squash is played all ovee the world, his dominance in the sport was unreal to so overall I would have to go with him in terms of being an icon and dominance.

When you think of sports icons from the USA who are not just national superstars then look no further then Ali, Mike Tyson and Michael Jordan. Ali is easily the greatest sporting icon on the planet however.

Brady, coz the amount of science and competition Football enjoys and also the guy picked so late in the draft has turned into the greatest quarterback, I don't like him though but man have mad respect for him.

Googled Brady, some American football player. It's a lame sport which isn't played on any decent level outside of America. Im not sure why in the UK we had two channels showing 3/4 hours of rubbish last night.

Jahangir has done things which will most likely never be matched in a sport which is physically very difficult to play and played by many all over the world.

He has to be the greatest athlete ever in any sport. Has Brady ever won 555 American football games consecutively? Has Bolt won 555 100m races in a row? Has Muhammad Ali won 555 boxing matches straight? Has Federer won 555 tennis matches at a trot? Nobody else comes close, in any sport, ever.

Squash is a hobby sport in most parts of the world. American Football may be unique to America for the most part but the level of professionalism and physicality required is amazing.

Well put! Between the 2 it is Brady hands down (I had to look up the other dude). Jahangir is impressive but Brady's all round accomplishments given the demanding dynamics of football as a game makes it more impressive.

Before this super bowl I would have said Joe Montana is an all time great in football, but as another poster mentions, I agree that things have changed.
