With M Amir, Wahab Riaz, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, M Hasnain, Nasim Shah, Musa Khan, Hasan Ali, and many more fast bowlers?

Who should be in the T20 World Cup Squad?

Well, that will be a headache for Selectors.

Amir, Shaheen and Rauf.

You cannot leave out Amir with his record in ICC tournaments and experience. Shaheen is developing nicely while Rauf looks like the right arm genuine quick we've been missing. Keep Nasim away from this kind of cricket - he needs to learn the fundamentals of setting up a batsman and bowling long spells in FC cricket first.

The rest on the list are meh.

Shaheen
wahab
hasnain
haris
amir/naseem
if amir has good PSL he should be selected. Wahab is must especially for death overs. He has become so lethal in death overs he is must for world t20

I wouldn't get too carried away, there might be lots of fast bowlers, but you would struggle to find 3 that are actually top class.

Personally I would stick with Shaheen, Amir and Hasan Ali as the top picks, with Hasnain and Nasim as the young ones to come through. I am not convinced by either Shinwari or Rauf who has looked awful today.

you are right but I would fit in wahab somewhere in there I know he is not the fan favorite but I think we need him

Shaheen is a lock across formats . Rauf did well in bbl and considering the tournament is in Australia , he should play there. The remaining spot should be between hasnain and Wahab maybe . Not sure why people think Aamir will make any impact on those wickets.

Musa should be a definite no.

I wouldn't take Naseem Shah either.

Shaheen and Haris in the definites.

After the PSL performances, pick two from Amir, Hassan, Hasnain and Wahab.

Definitely need a pace bowling A/R, hence 4 pacemen should be picked.

I thought he had retired to be honest. I was a big supporter of his claim for the 50 over world cup, and he delivered.

We shouldn't be going to any ICC tournament without Amir even if its on Mars

Asia cup will give Pakistan t20 worldcup squad final touch .
Shaheen
Amir/hasan ali
Husnain/wahab
Nasim shah/haris rauf
Musa khan/irfan

Shaheen definitely.
The others it's very difficult to decide. For me Wahab deserves to be in. He is certainly our best death bowler.
Amir is canny as ever but wickets are still eluding him. But I would pick him for his experience.
Of the rest, I will take one of Nasim or Hasnain based on performance till the WC.
Despite his BBL exploits, I just don't think Haris is consistent enough. He takes wickets but leaks too many runs and won't take much for top batsmen to figure him out. Also his primary role is at the death where I think Wahab is a much better bowler.

So for me it's Shaheen, Wahab, Amir and Naseem/Hasnain.

I think it would come down to having better secondary skills now since the competition is so close. The questions to be answered now are

1. Who has tournament pedigree?
2. Who is able to score a quick fire 20 from 8 balls if needed?
3. Who is able to field and catch? (still not over Rahat dropping Watson even though I know that wouldn't have meant that we'd win the match)
4. Who can deliver in pressure cooker situations with both their primary and secondary skill?

I am yet to be convinced by Rauf. He's gaining weight and his secondary skills are questionable and if he isn't bowling fast, he looks vulnerable.

Shaheen as of now seems to be a lock-in but this is cricket and things can change very quickly.

Everyone else has a lot to prove and improve as none of them are complete packages yet. We need to remember that bowling 145 kph doesn't really work if it's not backed up by skill.

That said, it's heartening to see that young speedsters are taking over the bowling generation otherwise over the last few years we were always one match away from another Tanvir/Sami comeback.

Don’t want Aamir the ahsanfaramosh trundler in the team we have plenty of phast bowlers out performing him , would like to see Wahab leading the youngsta beauties Afridi, Hasnain, Naseem & Musa with Hassan Ali & Rauf as backup

Alhamdulillah man. Watching these 145 kph speedsters in flow is a sight. Hasnain and Naseem in tandem today was an ode to Pakistan of the 90s. The best part about this is most of these lads are teenagers. They have all the potential to become better than what they are now.

Pakistan cricket could become really exciting to watch for a neutral fan in the near future, if all these guys are properly taken care of.

I was watching the practice game that Nasim played and he just bowled one over and the Aussie commentators went something like this guy is a lock for the first test.

He's super exciting but personally I don't want him to concentrate on t20 as his action is injury prone. PCB should protect him and take care of his finances as he can become an asset for Pakistan long-term in test cricket.

But honestly, nazr na lagay MashAllah, such happy times finally, after so many years of utter mediocrity in terms of pace. The last tour to South Africa was just embarrassing in terms of speed for our team.

I know this is being repeated many times but can we just take another second..

4 teenage bowlers bowling 145 comfortably!!

Plus Rauf who is great for limited overs and Akif who is slower but will be a world class longer format bowler.

Shaheen, Hasnain, Naseem and Amir (for experience). Holy crap for the first time in a long time we will have a pace attack where each bowler can bowl 90+ mph comfortably.

Kudos to Mudassir Nazar, I think the man deserves credit for finding these young fast bowlers. I'm not sure why I don't see him around PSL much but he seems like a good guy to have around youngsters.

Too early to decide what fast bowlers are going to get picked but I wouldnt mind if they pick for WT20
Shaheen
Hasnain
Haris Rauf
Naseem Shah
Musa

Mouth Watering Fast Bowlers and in Australia.

Keep Naseem out of T20 except PSL
Musa does not belong there

Shaheen is the best we have, Hasnain is progressing very well, then we need two experienced ones Amir and Wahab as there is no one among the youngsters to make a claim. If Rauf performs well in PSL, he could also be another choice

Yes 1- Shaheen, 2- Husnain 3- Aamir 4- Wahab 5-Rauf.

I skeptical about amir.He doesn't look like he's gonna take wickets but he hardly goes for runs that's the plus point for him. I hope he performs well in upcoming games and he is from community I really want him to be in that squad.

Have them rotate, I think Misbah and co have the right idea with how things are going

Tests: Shaheen, Abbas, Naseem

ODI: Shaheen, Husnain, Shinwari, Rauf, Amir

T20: Shaheen, Husnain, Rauf

Introduce Faheem, Amad and others as needed. I don't think Amir is going to be able to make a significant comeback other than serve as an injury backup. He just isn't a wicket taker anymore

Wahab can probably contribute more in T20s, but at 34 I am not sure it makes sense to play him given the high level of new talent coming through.

Shaheen Shah Afridi
Naseem Shah
Haris Rauf
Mohammad Hasnain

…….would be my first choice attack. My reserves would be Amir and Wahab.

Playing 11
Shaheen
Amir (due to his experience in ICC tournaments)
Rauf (due to his experience in Aus)

Bench
Hasnain
Wahab/ Naseem (Would prefer Wahab due to his death bowling and hitting which he’s capable of)
