1)Isa Guha: A quota commentator, she is there on ethnicity and gender alone
2) Ramiz: no need to explain why.
3)Wasim: basically reads the scoreboard. this is his level of commentary.
I think most of the criticisms of Isa Guha here are probably stemming from patriarchal bias. She is a great commentator for so many reasons. She doesn’t really talk about the IPL that much! You are mistaken there. She has great interpersonal skills, creates good dialogue and clearly has good cricketing knowledge. Pretty baseless criticism mostly. Why don’t you like her? Do you have any reasoning?
Harsha is clearly the worst commentator. Ramiz is a weathervane and just goes wherever the wind blows him. Has poor cricketing insight. Understands some technical aspects of batting but that is about it. But Harsha is by far the worst. No cricketing knowledge, no playing experience and always pushing the Indian line
Shh, you're not suppose to pick Isa Guha because someone thinks she's liked worldwide and we're just picking on her...
I rate her over Akram, Waqar, Manjrekar, Athar Ali Khan, Ganguly and many biased opinionated commies. Not sure if you followed the test series in Australia. She was pretty good. I rate her better than alison mitchell, lisa sthalekar (who did do commentary in australia). I found them drawn out and boring. But atleast the other girls were not annoying though like some of the other commies i mentioned at the top.
It's called having opinions mate. You don't like Harsha, I do. You think he has no cricketing knowledge, I think he does but doesn't express what's happening on the pitch *then and now*. On the other hand I think Isa Guha is an awful commentator that has difficulty in expressing herself.
I find your insinuation of patriarchal bias rather idiotic. I find Melanie Jones good to listen to as I do Alison Mitchell. Maybe take that trope elsewhere where it belongs
Oh and she DOES go on about the IPL more often that not. I don't know which other female commentator you've been listening to but that isn't Isa Guha![]()
Nah, I think it is more likely your opinion is wrong and mine is right.
