Slight mistake. If they bowl first and restrict India to 200, they'll need to reach the target in around 31.5 overs. If the target is 251, they'll need to get there in about 33.2 overs.
Target 200 ,they need to Chase in 31.5 over , if target is 251 they need to chase in 32.5 overs.

So look at the difference in 200 or 251 Target it just 1 over difference for 50 run.

Pakistani kids will be hoping:

* Subhan & Ali cause a havoc bowling Ind out

England U19 vs New Zealand U19, 10th Match, Super Six Group 2

England 96/2 atm in 22 overs.

Afghanistan U19 vs Ireland U19, 9th Match, Super Six Group 1

Afghanistan 103/3 atm in 22 overs.

Pakistan must bat first.

Bowling is their strength. No matter what score Pakistan get. Be it 250 or 300. They have to back their bowling to bowl out the opposition under the required runs scenario for qualification.

England is seriously under pressure 106/2 after 26 over.

Pakistan fans are watching this game more closely.

Currently NZ is in strong position to win this match

:kp

England 175/5(41.2 overs). @Nikhil_cric best chance for NZ to chase the target and for Pakistan it's best results.

I don't think England can score over 225 from here.

This pitch is an absolute shocker to Bat on.. Ball keeping low and turning square. There is a Semi Final on this Pitch too :kp

If Afghanistan win, they are in the semi. They are looking good to go through.

AFG - 282/3 (46.4 overs).

Pakistan U19 wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Shayan has been ruled out of the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup after being struck on the nose by a ball while wicket-keeping to a fast bowler during a scenario-based practice match. He was taken to hospital, where X-rays confirmed a fracture. A replacement for Mohammad Shayan will be named in due course.

Oh, no.

May he get well soon.

Reddy - 2 wickets and 39* runs so far .

Your cricket knowledge is same like your minnow team

:klopp :kp
only Indian origin talent has kept them in the game so far.. but pathetic team fans bash them as their own minnow level bankrupt team cannot achieve anything in 40 years of international cricket.

Young Lions book ICC U19 World Cup semi-final place with dominant win over New Zealand

Manny Lumsden’s five-wicket haul ensured England secured their place in the semi-finals of the 2026 ICC Men’s U19s World Cup with a 65-run win over New Zealand in Bulawayo.

Hampshire seamer Lumsden bowled expertly on a slow pitch to return five for 17, including two key wickets in the eighth over, and bowl New Zealand out for 169.

Ben Mayes, the tournament’s leading runscorer, had earlier hit 53 while Caleb Falconer (47) and Ben Dawkins (42) provided valuable contributions in a total of 234 for seven.

Victory maintained the Young Lions’ perfect record in the tournament with five wins from as many games.

Lumsden removed the dangerous Hugo Bogue and Kiwi captain Tom Jones, both to catches by wicketkeeper Thomas Rew, in the eighth over to give his side the advantage. The Young Lions continued to apply pressure before Lumsden completed the win when he bowled Harry Burns and Hunter Shore from consecutive deliveries.

“It’s a lovely feeling. It’s nice to contribute to a win and get five wickets,” Lumsden, who was named Player of the Match, said at the post-match presentation.

“It was all about keeping the stumps in play with the variable bounce. You could see that with the last two wickets with the ball shooting low. We’ve won the five games that we have played and all the boys have contributed during the group stage and the Super Sixes.”

Captain Rew said: “He (Lumsden) has been good all tournament. He’s bowled quick, he’s been aggressive and that’s just what we ask of him. Having some firepower like that in our squad is a great asset. It’s nice to win today and know that we’re through – we’re looking forward to a semi-final.”

England will meet either Australia or Afghanistan in the semi-finals. The result of Sunday’s Super Sixes Group Two match between India and Pakistan will confirm the Young Lions’ last-four opponent.

This year U19 format is very weird. There is a group of 6, but each team only plays like 4 games and 2 of them are carry over from Group games?

It is the exact format that was used in 2024. All the boards from major countries unanimously agreed to keep the format. Only associate teams wanted different format.

For all the complaints about format 4 best teams have qualified. Nobody sneaked through to semi final.

it is a pretty decent format considering that you cannot have enough time, money to spend on a U19 tournament in round robin format. Irrespective of the format, anytime that wins most of its matches have qualified and those who one or two less have come close to qualifying..

Worst cricket format I have seen in my life.

Anyway, hopefully Afghans will beat India so that we can enjoy a relaxing final. :inti

England is dominating the match. They will face final. Will be an interesting final regardless of who makes it.

Thomas Rew and Oliver Peake look like two names who will become synonymous with English and Australian cricket in years to come. Every tournament there are a select few players who standout in that respect and these two have definitely stood out.

Rew century leads England into ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup final

Thomas Rew’s century led England to a 27-run victory over Australia and a place in the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026 final.

The England skipper made 110 from 107 balls to lead his side to 277 for seven in Bulawayo, Caleb Falconer chipped in with a useful 40.

Rew’s opposite number Oliver Peake led the reply but was the last man to fall for exactly 100 as the reigning champions bowed out at the last-four stage.

England will face either India or Afghanistan, who face off on Wednesday, in Friday’s final.

England overcome fierce rivals despite Peake heroics

England elected to bat upon winning the toss but lost Ben Dawkins for a single in the second over.

Joe Moores (25) and Ben Mayes (24) steadied the ship but both fell in quick succession, Moores trapped in front by Aryan Sharma and Mayes clean bowled by Hayden Schiller, to leave the scoreboard reading 60 for three.

Enter Rew and Falconer, who combined for a match-defining 135-run fourth-wicket stand.

Rew was the aggressor, using his feet well against spin and punishing anything loose from the quicks as he struck 14 fours and a six in his captain’s knock, reaching three figures with a single to long-on from a Sharma full toss.

He was run out for 110 to leave England 236 for six but Farhan Ahmed’s useful unbeaten 28 from 26 balls injected some late momentum as Australia, for whom Schiller and Naden Cooray took two wickets apiece, were set 278 to win.

Alex French made the breakthrough in reply, a searing yorker pinning Will Malajczuk (15) in front, while Ralphie Albert claimed the important wicket of Malajczuk’s opening partner Nitesh Samuel for 47, as he was stumped by Rew.

Manny Lumsden (2/55) made a quickfire double breakthrough to further halt the batting side’s momentum and when Sharma subsequently fell to Ahmed for a 23-ball 34, Australia were 180 for six.

But key man Peake remained at the crease and set English nerves racing when he clubbed 22 from the 46th over, bowled by Lumsden, to move to 99 and leave the equation reading 34 needed from 24 balls.

Sebastian Morgan cleaned up Charles Lachmund and though Peake reached a magnificent century later in the same over, he could not quite see his side home as he chipped James Minto to Morgan at point with 2.3 overs remaining.

@Devadwal good news no Australia in final

This Rew kid has been very consistent too across different tournaments. A future star and England captain in international cricket in the making. All the best to him.

For sure. He has a bright future ahead of him. But Oliver Peake is a heck of a talent too. This season in the BBL he hit a last ball six to win a game for the Melbourne Renegades when they needed 4 or 5 off the last ball. For a 19 year old to be able to do that in a high-pressure situation is quite impressive.

Doens't matter for US. I personally prefer Australia because defeating Australia is most satisfying things as they are beast team.

Btw Afghanistan is favourite against India in semifinal.

:kp
