As the World Cup season is upon us, I wanted to get a discussion going on travelling to the United Kingdom. Let's all share any tips/suggestions for those travelling to the UK while also outlining any troubles that you could face.
I'll start with my own case - I'll be travelling from the US to attend the Pak vs SA game at Lords on the 23rd. I've been super excited till today when I was told that the Biometric enrollment services provided for UK visa customers at US Dept. of Homeland Security Application Support Centers (ASCs) are temporarily suspended. No further information is given and I was told to return for the appointment once the service is back up!
So, I wanted to see if anyone else has ran into the same issue or thinks they could run into the same in the coming days!
Other than that, as I said, feel free to post your own travel advice for the PP brigade!
