The 5th match of the UAE T20I Tri-Series sees Pakistan take on the United Arab Emirates at Sharjah on September 4, 2025, with the clash set to begin at 8:00 PM PST. Pakistan currently top the points table with four points from three matches, having won two and lost one, boasting a healthy net run rate of 0.867.

The UAE, on the other hand, have struggled in the series, winning two of their five matches overall, with a net run rate of -1.725, and will be looking to turn their fortunes around in front of a home crowd.

I’d just play our strongest team.

Would prefer fakhar at 4 or 5. But I don’t think we should mess with Agha or Hasan positions anymore nor do I think they realistically will. Think it’s his last few chances to really save his spot otherwise I think he’s getting dropped.

I’d still stick with Haris and I wouldn’t make Farhan keeper. He’s likely a worse keeper, and I don’t think it’s wise distracting him from his main focus opening.

I know we can experiment, but I think we’ve done so much chopping and changing, just get used to playing with a settled team. I think we also need to just back one guy not keep letting people fight it out. Go with Sufiyan for now and if it doesn’t work out good we’ve got another option to replace him in abrar.
