most beautiful bowling actions IMO is waqar, amir, brett and steyn and worst ones are bumrah and tanvir

Agree Katich had an ugly batting style.

Not sure that Flintoff has a beautiful bowling action!

Waqar- certainly should be added to the beautiful actions and so should Warne.
 
Shane bond's the more aesthetically pleasing bowling action I've ever seen in my life. This and Waqar's action (which I tried copying a lot in my younger days) are two of the most beautiful bowling actions I've personally witnessed.

As of Today, Steyn and Amir are right up there as well.

100% agree on Yasir shah.. dunno how I missed him. That's just the most beautiful bowling action for a leggie. Absolutely poetry
 
Beautiful bowling actions - Holding (loved his run up), Donald, McGrath (such a repeatable action) Ambrose (released the ball so high with his jump and high arm action).

Ugliest - Paul Adams (arms and head all over the place) and Sohail Tanvir.
 
Very surprising that no one mentions the king of graceful batting(agreed by many) Carl Hooper. Inspite of decent avg he grossly underachieved as a batsman though.
And other than him Daryl Cullinan who is perhaps the most graceful ever from SA. Mark Waugh the most graceful Aussie of his generation.
The worst looking batsman has to be Fawad Alam, the dancing joker. And remember one Saleem Elahi.

Fawad Alam - agree with a previous poster. Horrible style.

Carl Hooper - very graceful.

Kohli - beautiful action.

Majid Khan - forgot him. Graceful and stylish player.

As much as I hated the fact that Mohammad Sami has no control over his bowling. I used to love his bowling action.

Best Batting Action: Saeed Anwar, Mohammad Yousaf, Dravid, Lara,
Best Bowling Action: Mcgrath, Wasim, Asif, S. Pollock, Shane Warne, Saqlain,

and it was a treat seeing Shoaib Akhtar run in.
 
Currently enjoy watching Rabada, Hasan and Amir bowl.

They're not the most fluid but I also enjoy watching Pattinson and Cummins bowl.

Ugly: Tanveer, Bumrah, Paul Adams, Ntini, Andre Nel, Malinga.
 
Allan Donald, Dale Steyn, Jimmy Anderson, McGrath and the Pakistani legends bowling actions were great and in batting I loved to watch Ricky Ponting, Yousaf and Anwar in full flow
 
India had this bowler called Mohanty in the 1990s, his action was rank awful, everyone in school used to take the mick by imitating whilst messing around in the playground

If Amla and Lara are ugly then you must watch bull fighting and not cricket. Really man this is just unfathomable to pick up sense from some, hahaha.

I think their trigger movement is probably the reason behind putting them in that category, though I don't agree.
 
Not a popular choice but for me it is Courtney Walsh. Smooth run up and then an explosive unwinding motion before the release, like Wasim. Liked em both. Currently it is Philander. Also like MJ's slingy action.

Batting wise, currently it is QdK. Looks very unassuming but hits class cover drives and flicks.

Speaking of class how can I forget our very own Amin. Showed his class in SAF.

Lastly, Mohammad Yousuf was very elegant as well as zaheer Abbass from what footage videos I've seen.

Agree that Hassan ali has a very beautiful bowling action. You could watch that energy and passion all day.

There was a SA bowler around the 90s who didn't play much, Richard Snell, I used to like his bowling action as well. And Meyrick Pringle's as well.

M Waugh, Deano, Laxman, Azhar, Robin Smith, Vaughan, Ponting, Hooper, Viv all very pleasing. I also loved the urgency and a rather stiff upright style of batting of Gooch and Aamer Sohail (at times they looked mirror images of each other, one right and one left), Gooch could just stand there upright and drive, cut, pull, flick, basically play all around the wicket with the same exact stance, an acquired taste, I guess.
De Silva had a silky touch, very pleasing to the eye. Inzi was elegant, I want to say Younis Khan but not all the time. Yasir Hameed and Imran Nazir were very good to look at when in form driving through covers, very strong.

Its there trigger movement which I find ugly. The stroke making is pleasing to watch no doubt. Also not a fan of Lara's bat lift.

I'm only choosing players who currently play and not legends of the past.

Batting:

Beautiful -
1) KW; he's a treat to watch.
2) Pujara; when on song, he's arguably one of the most beautiful players to watch.

Ugly -
1) Virat Kohli; I admire the batsman and player he is but I don't really like watching him. He moves a little too much in the crease and looks all at sea when the ball seams.
2) Fakhar Zaman; Everyone knows about my love for the man but he's an ugly batsman to watch. He gets runs but a lot of them come off of edges, cuts and leg byes.

Bowling:

Beautiful -
1) Matt Henry and Adam Milne; absolute reflections of Bond.
2) Amir and Boult; free flowing actions, lovely to watch.
3) Mitchell Starc; aggressive action but I love it.

Ugly -
1) Kagiso Rabada; personally, I'm not a fan of his bowling action even though it yields him results.
2) Jasprit Bumrah; One of the ugliest actions I've ever seen.
 
3 of the most beautiful bowling actions I ever saw were Kapil Dev, Michael Holding and Richard Hadlee.

Lovely run up, smooth approach and effortless.

Great to watch.

As for batsmen - Gower, Saeed Anwar and Azharuddin. It was like watching magicians just waving a wand at the ball.
