'We are better off, when all of us are better off' - Corbyn
Did you see that asian bloke complaining about corporation tax, he answered his own question with his question directed at Jeremy!"I grew up in a household who always voted Labour" did it never occur to him why or how he found himself in the successful position he is today? what ay tosser
Exactly what Jeremy said to him, it was the labour party after the wars which pushed for reforms which made this guy what he is today.
I think he's nailed every question so far. What a great man.
What is wrong with this guy doing the questioning? he is a joke
Paxman is a sensationalist . He wants to come across as more important than anyone else. Will end up looking a fool tbh.
Jeremy used owned him now! May will not get applause against Paxman.

Will Paxman question May with the same approach? I think the audience should roast May so not worried about thatbut this is very annoying, I hate this style; very moronic and doesn't help anyone especially younger generation
Faisal Islam doing a very good job, knows his figures.
May = 30 for 4 after the first 15 overs , can she channel her inner Misbah?![]()
This guy mouthing "bloody b0ll0cks" clearly not impressed !

Wish you were posting in this thread during that live dance off)
Big Mac I made the little one register a few weeks ago, I provided an objective analysisof all the party's so she can make an informed decision on who to vote

I didn't watch it live, I'm catching up now. Corbyn has done well, Paxman was terrible. How can he do a worse job of asking questions than the audience?
May has just made her entrance, I'm glad I don't drink otherwise I think I'd die after taking a shot each time she says Strong and Stable or Coalition of Chaos.

It reminded me of when Najam Sethi was interviewing Misbah ul Haq on Geo![]()
They should have played the Imperial March theme as May walked into the studio, you will enjoy her segments mate lmao
The idiot moaning about the abolition of zero hours contracts had me all
![]()
Lifelong Labour voter? Pull the other one![]()
He answered his own question with his question "Well my family have notoriously voted for Labour but.........." does he not realise how he came to be in the position he is today? and those zero hour contracts are the equivalent to slave work, yours truly has been exploited! and screw him complaining about the living wage, he should ask his mom and dad what they were paid while they were struggling. Besides these guys try their best to give their workers cash in hand so they can avoid paying the LW
The Tory press are claiming Theresa May won by a mile!)

No she didn't. She was blabbering like an idiot when being questioned by the audience. As if saying "I'm drowning, please someone save me!"She did really well, check out the hashtag #TheresaMayGIFs on twitter) bet you orchestrated that Big Mac

This was a really tough question as it came from 'traditional Labour voter going Conservative'/the aspirational working class, Corbyn answered it brilliantly

Not The Times, the general tone was very worried. Previously the general theme this week (and for the last couple of years to be fair) has been to try and link him with appeasing terrorists. Today was the first time there was genuine concern that the smear campaign appears to be faltering.
I'm no Labour acolyte by the way, just my observation.
Corbyn's night. May seemed quite nervous and under pressure.
There is another one of these on Friday in York I believe and this will have a bigger impact on polling than last night.
Corbyn was on Women's Hour on Radio 4 this morning. The interviewer cut him to pieces. He has no idea of the details of his manifesto pledges. Long silences, repeating himself, evasions. Not only the worst performance by a Labour Leader I ever heard, the worst by any MP. I was embarrassed for the guy - he is utterly, horribly out of his depth.

What type of acolyte are you if you don't me asking![]()
That interviewer was mentally inept and fishing for ratings, expects every costing figure to be committed to memory! So the man cant reel off stats on que, so what!?
I don't understand how Corbyn can be so smooth on his feet in front of Jeremy Paxman and a live audience last night, but go completely off the rails on Radio 4's bloody Woman's HourI'm not anti-Corbyn, I've already sent off my postal vote for Labour, but let's not bury our heads in the sand when the leader makes avoidable mistakes.
Perhaps he was tired. But under pressure from some informed chick on the radio he fell to bits. Bodes ill, if there is a national emergency to deal with and lives are on the line.
Sad to see the personal attacks on the interviewer here, from the usual cheering section. Don't consider the message, shoot the messenger. Corbyn is a British Trump, good in front of an friendly audience, making emotional arguments, but lacking in substance.
And inspiring the same type of unreason in their supporters.
The problem is when many parts of the electorate already have a preconceived view that Labour aren't to be trusted with the nation's finances and don't know their sums - then interviews like this will only confirm it.
Its a needless own goal. You should know journalists will bombard you with questions about the costs of your pledges ESPECIALLY after Diane Abbott had a similar stumble on LBC earlier in the campaign when she didn't know the cost of hiring more police officers !
Even then if you don't know, he could've answered it like this:
"I don't know the figure off the top of my head but I will publish it immediately after this interview" and quickly move on.
