For years I have seen Kohli getting away with immature/borderline extreme aggressive behaviour due to him being a golden boy of the strongest board in World cricket, and the fact that ICC needs him to play so that all of the boards can make their earnings through BCCI who contribute a lot, thus own a lot more sway in committee meetings etc.

But it has got to the point where the hypocrisy needs to be called out, enough is enough really. Umar Akmal has been rightfully trolled and reprimanded for his countless incidents of immature behaviour, but how is Kohli the wiser? Because he has a stronger PR team dealing with his off-field activities? Name me a sport where any professional sportsmen so openly shout profanity without even trying to mask their emotions whilst doing so? This is not the UFC and Virat Kohli certainly is not an MMA fighter, so why does he continue to defile the beautiful sport of cricket with his pointless behaviour and keeps getting away with it because of how talented he is? Will the ICC do anything about his 'false shouting of 2 runs' ? I think not.

You tell me who is the more mature person, Umar Akmal or Virat Kohli? And tell me how convinced you are in your judgement!

Kohli is more mature. Despite his arrogance and fake bravado, he works hard to be the best. He follows a strict dieting schedule and works out often. Can’t say the same thing about Umar Akmal.

Imagine a PSL/IPL/BPL party attended by the following:

Umar Akmal
Virat Kohli
Hardik Pandya
Ahmad Shahzad
Hassan Ali
Shadab Khan
Shaheen Shah Afridi
Mushfiqur Rahim

The sub-continent really has produced some characters I tell you!

Kohli is more mature. He loses his temper often on some occasions, but to compare his maturity level to Umar's will be foolish.

Umar has the brain of a child who refuses to evolve with time. His antics are on a whole different level altogether.

You will never see Kohli publicly slapping a traffic officer on the streets of Mumbai, or removing his clothes in front of everyone to show his body fat.

Kohli is someone who works extremely hard to surpass himself all the time. Akmal is someone who believes the whole world is jealous and is conspiring against his "talent", and he doesn't think twice before throwing baseless allegations against anyone, be it Mickey, Waqar, or even McCullum.

Umar never did such cheap antics. Apart from being bit inferior in English to Kohli he is better in all way

Lmao no he is not... umar has a child like brain...

Kohli has created a multi million dollar brand. Umar has only dug his grave.

It’s just a matter of management and handling.

I love Umar the batsman but he is an idiot... very big idiot

But he ISNT a cheater or a fixer.

There is a physical training and there is a mental age. His physical training is great but his mental capcaity needs alot of training.

Dedication to Cricket, grit, being physically fit and following a strict dieting schedule are signs of mental maturity.

Kohli has a fake personality and bravado and he deserves to be criticized for his behaviour against New Zealand, but it’s an insult to compare him with a brainless chap like Umar Akmal.

Kohli’s fall will always be a big one because of his on field behavior.

But irrespective he is still better than UA mentally atleast for now.

UA is in limelight for his off field behavior rather than his on field one.
