This could be the biggest man made famine since the great Chinese famine yet the world powers just sit by and watch from afar.

The United Nations (UN) and more than 20 humanitarian groups are decrying a decision by a Saudi-led military coalition to block access to airports, seaports and land crossings into Yemen, saying it could bring millions of people closer to “starvation and death.”

The groups including CARE, Save The Children and Islamic Relief, say about two-thirds of Yemen's population relies on imported supplies.

They say over 20 million people need humanitarian assistance, including seven million facing “famine-like” conditions. Food supplies to feed them are set to run out within six weeks; vaccine supplies will last one month.

Where are the leaders of the so called free world? Saddam and Gaddafi were murdered to save peoples lives but this conflict is much greater in terms of suffering , yet silence.

Me and KK agreeing for once. ;)

Why is Yemen so poor, underdeveloped and prone to violent clashes than Saudi Arabia? Can't believe that both the countries are neighbors with one Super Rich and other one on the brink on famine.

Because Yemen does not have oil.

Maybe violent clashes and famine has something to do with the super rich neighbour. Its hard to develop a country when wealthy countries are bombing it constantly.
