No proper source - social media stuff from weak sources but as always no smoke without fire!
Fair enough if true it will be a big blow to PSL. Islamabad United was one of the strong teams going around. Under new management you never know where things will end up with the team.

Times are tough for sure - so such news is expected from many companies and IU is just another commercial venture.
This is gonna be bad for PCB and Misbah.
For Misbah this is bad because he was given full charge. He could play any player he wanted.
For PCB this is bad because PCB has a corporal structure. Most of the guys pcb hired in their corporal structure were from isb united.
Isb united had a professional organization in place and pcb was able to hire some wonderful people from there

As thunderbolt and the others said, Shoaib is really going to push his case to buy it. For a while now, he has been pestering the pcb to add in a 7th franchise for him to buy. How suitable it is for him that the one now potentially being made available is the one from where he belongs.
I will be happy if this happens because i want to see if he can put his money where his mouth is. He speaks a lot about how things would be if he was in charge.
Plus, it also means that Misbah gets rid of one of his 10 job roles, which is always a thing to celebrate.

This happens in young leagues with young franchises. Hope they get sold to a good owner who can continue to good work. The pandemic is hurting sports everywhere.

Because it was Misbah who bought the team and owned it and paid the salaries and took the revenue, right? What a terrible comment.
