US relocating Daesh to Afghanistan to justify military presence in region: Iran

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has expressed regret over the deaths of Afghan civilians in Daesh terror attacks, saying the United States has been relocating the terror group from the Middle East to the South Asian country to rationalize its military presence in the region.

By transferring the Daesh terror group from Iraq and Syria to Afghanistan, the US seeks “to justify the continuation of its presence in the region and to create security for the Zionist regime,” Ayatollah Khamenei said on Tuesday.

Fair assesment. ISIS has taken a beating in Syria and Iraq due to Iran,Russia,Syria,Hezbollah showing them no mercy. So it's only reasonable to say their proxy army will be used in other ge-political contexts, bringing them into Afghanistan is a tactic to cause problems for Iran and Pakistan.

i dont think pakistan will be concerned with his zionism remarks. but ISIS/Daesh is real threat to this region. US wants to move this war into every neighbouring country of afghanistan.

Doubt they're competing with each other.

From the sounds of it, the Taliban are primarily interested in removing the foreigners and their allies from the rural areas, and the small towns and villages, so they can control, and thus maintain, the Afghan society in the manner it has existed for hundreds of years, and stop any 'modern influences' (like educating girls) from having any effect.

Whereas Isis, in my opinion, is not just interested in preventing modern influences, but in fact reverting society back thousand+ years, back to some utopia (which actually never existed). And in that regard, believing that they need to cause as much death and destruction as they possibly can so as to generate an atmosphere of fear. A subtle but major difference.

Sounds like non-sense conspiracy theory to me. Iran and Russia are known for spreading misinformation. Last year Russia claimed they killed Baghdadi and they have repeated this claim multiple times. Iraqi and Syrian IS is either moving to the desert areas of Syria and Iraq, Hawija area of Kirkuk and the Hama pocket they recently captured from HTS and Rebels. Btw Iran and Russia has launched no airstrikes or attacks on the Hama pocket even though ISIS took over it few weeks ago.

ISIS fighters in Afghanistan are mostly Afghans, Pakistanis(many of them from TTP, Hafiz Saeed Khan is an example), Turkmen from Turkemenistan, Uzbeks and Tajiks. They don’t need manpower from Iraq ans Syria. Recent attck on Kabul Military was conducted by Afghans and a Turkmen according the picture ISIS released of terrorists. Another attack had a Pakistani guy from Bajur. This shows us what nationalities are in Afghan ISIS.

I think Iran and Russia are crying because of this statement from January.

ISIS have never waged war against Israel and some say they are supported by the Zionists.
On the other hand it is claimed that they were formed and armed by the Saudis who now happen to be on very good terms with Israel..

So the only threat to Zionism and Israel seems to be Iran and what better place to have them then Afghanistan..
