I believe Netherlands are a better team than USA. But this is some terrible performance from Neds. May be an off day?I am running out of animals lol Did not expect such a collapse

Monty reminds of poor hygiene .. indiscriminate SuSu !Harmeet reminds me of Monty Panesar.
But USA did well against India. Even with completely alien conditions in SL against Pakistan who were playing in tailor made conditions they did alright.I believe Netherlands are a better team than USA. But this is some terrible performance from Neds. May be an off day?![]()
Harmeet gets his 4th ... terrific by USA .84/7
USA is basically India Z team with a couple of Pakistanis and a south africanHarmeet gets his 4th ... terrific by USA .
Associate teams have really competed in this WC .
Teams like USA will have no future until the locals pick up the sport. With Trump thinking of banning H1B and stopping immigration, the future looks bleak for USA cricket. It is just a H1B visa holders sport for now.Harmeet gets his 4th ... terrific by USA .

young upcoming players are either naturalized or native born citizens. Players from teams like UAE and Oman are the problem. Not US where these players genuinely have roots or will have roots in futureTeams like USA will have no future until the locals pick up the sport. They would have got smacked for more than 190, where they got a few cheap wickets at the end due to the dimensions of the ground. That is done. Outplayed. Indians on Indian pitches are quiet a challenge. If pakistan had played USA in India they would have lost.
Good point and quite true.young upcoming players are either naturalized or native born citizens. Players from teams like UAE and Oman are the problem. Not US where these players genuinely have roots or will have roots in future
On Indian tracks it is hard to use 18 overs of spin and get away. They would have got smacked for more than 190, where they got a few cheap wickets at the end due to the dimensions of the ground.
They were nowhere close to Pakistan on that day, take it on the chin and move on.
Regardless, Pakistan is scoring more than 190 on Indian grounds vs USA and they are not chasing 200+ down against anyone. On Indian tracks it is hard to use 18 overs of spin and get away.
What if they had batted first?Regardless, Pakistan is scoring more than 190 on Indian grounds vs USA and they are not chasing 200+ down against anyone.
USA was completely outclassed on the day to the point they actually gave up in the middle, and a few hits to Shaheen made the margin look closer than it actually was.
USA would have likely gotten trounced in the Super 8s just like they did last time. Associates can pull of 1-2 good performances but don't have it in them to sustain it. You can't blame them because it all boils down to lack of exposure. Like other associates they don't have that experience of being in tough situations. That said, these teams being in the first round is a must and greatly enhances the quality of the tournament, as it has thus far. Hopefully some more upsets happen like the Zimbabwe-Australia one. This was a great win for team USA. If only we batted well and beaten India (IFs and BUTs fantasy, I know) - US could have hoped for super 8s.
