Don't know if it's for the better but his arms look all over the place now, along with a significant reduction in pace (from the visible eye).

Going later into the video his pace actually looks alright.

His problem is the contraction of the torso before the ball is even delivered. Unnecessarily straining himself and actually losing pace instead of gaining, waste of effort and energy. This is a problem with many Pakistani pacers who try to extract an extra yard by bending their backs like idiots. What they don't understand is that pace is actually generated from tightening your core muscles maintaining the torso upright and bounding off the crease from the bottom up. If your body has already collapsed before delivery you limit leverage and solely rely on upperbody strength and armspeed.

Watch Sami's action who's got his mechanics right thus generates easy pace in contrast to Ammad's.

I like this new action. He looks like a faster Binny. But the good thing is hell be getting more pace now.

More importantly however, Khurram Manzoors opening partner Azam Khan makes Sharjeel look super fit. Honestly, these blokes in our domestic set up are unfit even by normal standards, let alone as professional athletes.

He's been working with Wasim for the last two years and he's failed to address the issue.

Been posting about his speed but no ine replied that why his faster ones are barely 130kph though one delivery was 137 kph.

It’s not the speed but his variations that have impressed me a lot. Seems to be bowling with a lot of confidence also. Very good slower ball and a decent short ball that rises.
