It's a shame that PK plays so little against quality teams, so players like Babar can show their true quality. This was a brilliant innings and Babar showed his class

Because you are gifted. There was a reason I created this thread 4 years ago.
Look at all the responses in this thread, my only question is why was I the only one to see the mediocrity and that to a whopping 4 years ago?
Now people need to understand that Babar is not at the age where he can do something extraordinary to be ranked among international legendsThere was a reason I created this thread 4 years ago.

They will, but these pitches are a lottery. He is still doing better than your entire overrated lineup would do on these pitches. He is already in much better form than he was in 2023 and 2024.

Kohli never lost to USA either in a T20iKohli has never scored a t20i ton. I don't think there is anyone else with this feat.
Are you referring to his innings against USA?Great Great innings one which you can associate with the likes of Sachin Ponting Lara Viv
That's not a loss. technically it is a tie, check cricinfo or wherever. Kids these days.Kohli never lost to USA either in a T20i
He was highest run scorer for the team in that match and in that WC as well. We would have lost in 12 overs if it was not for Babar's inning in that match. Are you referring to his innings against USA?
He still has the aura right? Imagine what he would do if he becomes a tough pitch survivor and a flat pitch dominator. Although, I don't agree with it. He is a mix a both. No player can score as much as Babar does without being neither of those.Babar is neither a tough pitch survivor nor a flat pitch dominator. He is more a flat pitch accumulator. You have to be one or the other to have an aura.
Babar Azam is a great support act and not the main lead. The problem for Pakistan is that Babar does not have a main lead to play the supporting act to.He still has the aura right? He has no aura. He never had imposing presence. He had a lot of flat tracks in 2023 world cup. For instance against NZ on an absolute road Pakistan had to get 200 in 25 overs or something. Actual domination was from Fakhar not Babar. He still has the aura right? Imagine what he would do if he becomes a tough pitch survivor and a flat pitch dominator. Although, I don't agree with it. This. His fans have no taste in life if they feel he has aura.He has no aura.

Sad thing is, if Babar played that innings they would’ve called it the GOAT innings, but because it’s Fakhar they act like it never happened.
It is a team game not a movie, there is no support act or main lead. Iniesta and Xavi were as important as Messi. This analogy doesn't work hereBabar Azam is a great support act and not the main lead. The problem for Pakistan is that Babar does not have a main lead to play the supporting act to.
It does. Not all batters have the ability to take the game to the opposition. Some batters are good just batting within themselves and being good in partnerships with players who are aggressive. That's what I meant. Babar can be a very good batter with good average but he will never bother any opposition. He needs someone like a Fakhar Zaman on the other end to give meaning to his pedestrian innings. Unfortunately Babar does not have too many Fakhar Zaman's in the lineup. That's what I meant about support act. He is a good batter in a great batting lineup filled with aggressors, but in a batting line up like Pakistan which already has 3-4 players like him he can score runs but cannot make an impact. It is a team game not a movie, there is no support act or main lead.
