Pakistan will never will elect an extemist party. Thankfully the awareness in people has improved massively in the last couple of years. Still need to fix the brain washed Nawaz, Zardari and Altaf supporters but the progress has been in good in Pakistan.

Regrettable as the deaths are in India, they are still 2.6 per year (21 over 8 years). Forget about hundreds of Shias being killed in bomb blasts, just look at the "honor killings". Over a 1,000 women are killed in "honor killings" every year in Pakistan.

The problem with you is that you have no sense of proportion when you compare India to Pakistan. Do bear in mind that India's population is about 6.5 times Pakistan's.

Pakistan certainly has plenty of problems but it is a self declared Islamic republic and they have different standards to my country, which is Great Britain. When I talk about India, I compare with Britain as both the UK and India are non-Muslim countries and therefore a comparison makes sense.

I see little point in progressive Indians comparing themselves with Pakistan, it would be like Pakistanis comparing themselves with Ethiopia other than to say we can't be that bad, at least we are better than them!

On the other hand, as current India is on a march towards religious govt to reflect Hindu values, then the comparison with Pakistan might make more sense. Which country has the more religious credentials perhaps?

You wish that you guys don't care what others think of you especially the third world country named Pakistan. Honestly, about the rest of the world, no one cares about it; you are not famous for being a secular country. So instead of aiding their liberators, Kashmiris handed them over the Indian military en mass.
