Unity and friendship can also be counterproductive because players can get too comfortable.
I watched the interview and I didn’t like the Fakhar bit. From what I can gather, he is poor in the nets, doesn’t listen to or execute plans and lives in the moment.
This pretty much explains why he gets out in the same fashion over and over again, goes big or goes home, and requires considerable luck on the day to perform. This is not a recipe for long-term success.
They also appear to joke about the fact that he gets hit on his head frequently - it is a clear weakness and it doesn’t look like they are overly concerned.
Admittedly, I am making quite a few assumptions here, but if we can assume their unity based on a 20 mins chat, we can perhaps also assume that they are not working as hard as they should be.
If Fakhar is poor in the nets, if he cannot execute plans and he gets hit on the head with bouncers, they need to get to the root of the problems instead of laugh about it publicly.
