[VIDEO] Is it time for Mohsin Naqvi to step back and let the cricketers play cricket?

it’s the right thing to do. Say and do stupid things but at least show the players he’s not watching from afar

He’s way more invested in these youngsters than he was with the clowns who were sent for the 2024 World Cup under Babar’s watch.

Players have had nothing to do with this entire drama. They have just been spectators, watching their board embarrass itself in epic fashion and take all the focus off the cricket.
That is just your opinion.

I believe most Pakistanis stand with the PCB in recent events and are ok with the way they have conducted themselves.

Naqvi is like: “I’m going to meet the players before the India vs Pakistan match… but hold on, make sure the cameraman follows and makes it look unplanned and natural. Then we’ll post the video on Twitter.” Why? Because he threw a tantrum demanding Pycroft’s removal, ICC didn’t listen, and now his ego is bruised. So the next best thing? Stage some cheap publicity to look relevant and pretend he’s “motivating” the players before Sunday’s big clash. This man isn’t just incompetent, he’s also an attention hungry clown who can’t survive without the spotlight.

Most Pakistanis can choose to live in delusion if they want to, won't change the fact that PCB's actions have made Pakistan a laughing stock in the cricketing world. Also, their actions are reflecting badly on the team who have not looked convincing at all in this tournament and don't need the added pressure of this drama.

PCB showed themselves to be incompetent and reactionary in the way they handled this situation. India baited them and they fell in hook, line and sinker. Had they shown some restraint they could have come out of the situation quite well. But they reacted exactly as India expected them to react.

Spot on! Not only did it distract players who are already struggling, but it also brought unnecessary negative attention to our country. Naqvi keeps reacting impulsively and ends up making situations worse than they already are. I remember you and I once discussed how he dropped Fakhar after Fakhar spoke against him and the PCB in that meeting. At that time, I actually supported Naqvi, thinking he would bring stability and follow the rulebook. But I was wrong, so far, all he’s done is punish players, shuffle captains, coaches, and selectors like it’s a game of musical chairs, and chase cheap publicity.

You'd think the Interior Minister would have more important things to do. But nah, why not double down on your incompetence by taking a trip to Dubai?
I think he has been a disaster and needs to be replaced ASAP, but let’s not forget that he’s also the ACC president, and he is exactly where he is supposed to be.

The ACC president cannot be in his home country when there is an Asia Cup going on in the UAE.

If pakistan win any of the two matches, he will be hailed as a hero who inspired the team. If they lose as expected, then the blame will fall on players or another controversy created to deflect attention.

Either way, he is a master of creating an image for himself and getting attention.

Fair enough.
