Asked Naseem about the CPL and he said Dwayne Bravo made him feel so confident and made me feel like he was a tiger.

The support and backing of a good captain can be so beneficial to a young cricketer.

Sad we lack these figures in Pakistan Cricket

Dwayne Bravo taking Naseem Shah under his wings by encouraging and supporting him:

Self-doubt is a much bigger hurdle for good performances than most people think. We can't expect the young guns to fire without being backed by the senior players. Unfortunately, there is so much insecurity and jealousy when a young guy comes and outperforms the seniors.

My advice to Naseem would be to also move from Quetta in the PSL if possible.

A fresh start for another team will do him some good.

Another team has to want him. He can't decide which team he plays for

Quetta gladiators dug out has malicious malaise and highly unprofessional set up with cronyism and buddies, this is why their performance has declined over the years, the pity is they can't see the writing on the wall and self criticize their performance

Naseem is on a high at the moment. PCB would do well to take note of this and see he is encouraged and not left to his own devices.

Great to see. The WI guys are fantastic at rallying the troops. I was very disappointed in how Shaheen and Rauf acted in LQ during the PSL. They gave each other pats on the back, gave a lot of confidence, but poor Danyal was completely left out. Sohail Akhtar also wasn't any help to Danyal either.

A sidenote on Naseem Shah. Some people were saying that his action has gone back to what it was before Waqar. Can anyone attest to that?

Was going to say the same. I think this might happen itself in the upcoming draft as QG will be looking to form a comparatively different team and Naseem wasnt even much part of their plans last season.

I remember when I interviewed Ali Khan the USA bowler, he praised Bravo so much and mentioned how he had really helped him and his career.

Sadly such figures are rare in Pakistan cricket, where it's a dog-eat-dog world.

In Pakistan the captain is too worried about their income and livelihood to care about the mental health of a young bowler.

If it was Sarfraz instead of a fistbump it would be a teapot along with a few choice words.

Naseem needs to run away from Quetta as soon as possible, and find some new figures that will look out for him and have his best interests.
