He was calming Liton down, you and Rana have made out he stuck his tongue inside Litons mouthRizwan was hugging Bangladeshi players when Salman was abusing them and they were responding back. What a clown this guy is lol? And then he plays a hacky shot and gets out in the same over. If i was a selector I will drop this guy forever @Rana
Let's say Agha had taken that single.Salman Ali Agha's response in post match presser
"What happened after the dismissal, it was heat of the moment. Regarding the dismissal though, what he did, if he thinks it is right, it is right. But I would have done things differently"

Mehdi clearly blocked Agha's way. no doubt Agha should be more concerned about getting back rather than picking up ball. But this was extremely poor from cheap and pathetic cricketing nation.
Nangin kitty cat on purpose got in Salman's way to prevent him from getting back to the crease.
P.S. Salman looks like an Azhar Mahmood twin![]()
dalmiya's poor legacy. This team shouldn't be playing international sport. Disgrace to cricket and sports in general. PatheticCricket gone downhill ever since BD gifted full time membership
It just ain't cricket, what Miraz did sillier than Botham sending his MIL
yeah, i was wondering too. This is no way like what happened today. Today Mehdi actively blocked Agha
Who was the genius comparing the Misbah run-out with the pathetic incident from this match ?
It's more mental mate, either in your mind you are oppressed and suppressed or dominant and a champ, nothing to do with meat non meat eating psuedo science....
Ok, so you live in Pakistan then..
which means almost all Bangladeshis will support this act by MirazAlmost every Bangladeshi with a cricketing sense won't support this act by Miraz.
Only if jumping fences counted as a competitive sportBangladesh are not made for sport.
Even after doing this they will lose.
That's how you show good sportsmanship...

Yass?Yass Miraz, you tell 'em..

If Misbah did this .. y’all would’ve supported that crapThis was idiotic stuff from Agha
I have no problem with lack of sportsmanship. In fact I think if it's legal, within the rules, it's within the sportsmanship.
If there's a problem with an act in sports. Then make it illegal.
However on this particular instance, Salman wanted to get back in crease but the bowler came in his way (doesn't matter if he was after the ball or not). As soon a batter or a bowler comes in other's way. It's obstruction and no advantage needs to be given to the other party for obstructing. Hence the ball should've been dead right there and then.
This was a mistake by the umpire. Plenty of times in Cricket before we have seen batters getting obstruct by the bowlers. At times even collide. But none of the bowlers thinks of running the batter out because it was a clear intentional or unintentional obstruction by them.
Lastly there was no question of Salman taking a run. Salman was one feet away from the stumps on non strikers end when the ball stopped around his legs. There was no threat or advantage Salman could've taken.
Umpires are to be blamed for wrong decision.
Kumar Dharmasena has become a horrible umpire off late. It all started off with his weird obsession with selfies.

Exactly. It’s all Rizwan and misbah’s fault. If Rizwan had never been born agha would have stretched to plonk his bat in the crease as a batsman ought to until the fielder collects the ball and it is deemed dead.Watching the video what Agha did is also funny lol. He is standing his ground like he is inside the crease. There is a potential chance of richochetting on to stumps. You should immediately try to drag yourself back in.
If you do research Rizwan is the root cause of this problem![]()
I think so. Yes.Exactly. It’s all Rizwan and misbah’s fault.
Mankad always will be a fair form of dismissal especially if the batsmen is taking an advantage. Its funny watching indians talk about this.
Indians dont look at the issue, they look at their feelings and relations. So if they have bad relations with bangladesh, so everything they do will be against them.
This is a nation that defends ashwins mankad
Indian opinion will always be biased towards its foreign relations and in singularity form of the issue itselfMankad always will be a fair form of dismissal especially if the batsmen is taking an advantage.
Regardless of India's relations with Bangladesh, Bangladesh cricketers have always shown themselves to be crass.
Amir talking of sportsman spirit is like leaving Jeffrey Epstein in charge of daycare !!Mohammad Amir on the development:
Mehidy had blocked Agha and inflicted the run-out. Why did the umpires not take note of this fact? The umpires could've prevented the controversy if they had noticed it,"
As much as Mehidy was at fault or Agha was at fault, we should also raise questions on the umpires. They could've given the benefit of the doubt to the batter as he had been blocked.
Umpiring standards are going down day-by-day. It was clear that the batter had been blocked by the bowler and that is why he couldn't get back to his crease," Amir added.
Bangladesh could've done better. Mehidy should've led from the front and by example. Cricket is a gentleman's game. The sportsman's spirit that we are taught was absent,"
Sprit of cricket from Amir lmao...Mohammad Amir on the development:

Finally someone has some proper sense.Whoever is defending Agha needs a reality check. Bro is outside the crease, ball is still in play and even tries to pick up the ball. Rightfully given out. Stupidity at max
Can’t blame Tigers only. Pakistani players trust opponents too much. Remember the Raina/ Inzimam incident? I have same feeling.Agha should be immediately sacked and made to retire
For trusting TIGERS
Are you saying ethics, morals, fair play, and sportsmanship should only apply to run outs and mankads and not to appealing for bumped catches, not walking after edging, and insulting fellow players through cusses on the field? A bit hypocritical, isn’t it?Its funny watching indians talk about this.

In this case, neither country is a friend - so perhaps falling back on the laws of the game to support one’s argument is too much to ask?Indian opinion will always be biased towards its foreign relations and in singularity form of the issue itself
Nope im saying rules are rules. I have no issue with mankad. Are you saying ethics, morals, fair play, and sportsmanship should only apply to run outs and mankads and not to appealing for bumped catches, not walking after edging, and insulting fellow players through cusses on the field? Liton Das lambasted on Salman Ali Agha with following thoughts after the run out episode in the 2nd ODI:
- "First of all, no one came here to play a charity league; this is an international match.”
- “Since the dismissal is within the rules, I don't see from any angle that sportsmanship was compromised.”
- “Everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion. But as players, we felt that an out is an out.”

ICC is biggest bunch of soyboys.. whole board should be dissolved.Pakistan player Salman Ali Agha has been handed an official reprimand for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during the second ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka on Friday
Salman was found to have breached Article 2.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an International Match.”
In addition to this, one demerit point has been added to Salman’s disciplinary record, for whom it was the first offence in a 24-month period.
The incident occurred in the 39th over of Pakistan’s innings when, after being run out, Salman threw his batting gloves and helmet to the ground in an inappropriate manner.
Salman admitted the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by Neeyamur Rashid Rahul of the Emirates ICC International Panel of Match Referees, so there was no need for a formal hearing.
On-field umpires Adrian Holdstock and Tanvir Ahmed, third umpire Kumar Dharmasena and fourth umpire Masudur Rahman Mukul levelled the charge.
Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand, a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player’s match fee, and one or two demerit points.
ICC is biggest bunch of soyboys.. whole board should be dissolved.
Handing out demerit points because a sportsman threw his equipment on the ground
But when boards have actual disputes ICC sits aside doing nothing.
Well you did compare the Misbah run out with this incident. Its funny watching indians talk about this.

Our Hindu brother didn't stay in the lane of sportsmanship here, he is learning from the muslim players of Bangladesh sweep_shot broVery stupid statements from Litton.
Litton doesn't like Pakistan because he is a hindu. All hindu Bangladeshis hate Pakistan. ROFL.
I have seen many Bangladeshis condemn Miraz's action on social media. So, Litton's view is in the minority.
What Miraz did was cheap and low-class. Agha was never attempting to take a run. Miraz needed to his brain better.![]()
Indians did same. But its ok no one complainedWell you did compare the Misbah run out with this incident.
You gained a lot of credibility with the above comparison bud![]()
These Indians disrupted global tournaments with their filthy shenanigans, destroyed spirit of the game many times to appease BJP government, their fans issue rape threats after any minor incident, but one Bangali caused a sneaky run out and their backsides exploded and they remembered spirit of the game and ethics.Indian opinion will always be biased towards its foreign relations and in singularity form of the issue itself
Check the link I posted above - this actually is a lot worse!!Threads about Miraz and BD and yet Sweepys lamenting about India
India lives in mind rent free....
