So will Salim Malik create a blitztrek in Pakistan Cricket? Me, hoping he will

I have seen a few of Saleem Malik’s interviews in recent weeks and there is even an element of cheat and dishonesty in his statements where he is seeking forgiveness. The more I have heard Malik the more I have realised that he was rightfully kept away from cricket affairs.I just saw the video in the OP in its entirety. Am I the only one here who thinks that in this video he has not accepted guilt or asking forgiveness for a wrong doing. All he has said is, loosely translated, is that
“IF (capitalisation mine) I have hurt fans’ sentiment I apologise”
And
“I should be given a second innings like the others”
And
“ I will cooperate with ICC/ PCB”
Perhaps he’s prepared to make a full admission later, but I want to point out he’s not exactly admitting anything here or apologising for a wrong action.
Played 100 Tests for his country.
Only one of 5 Pak players to do so along with Miandad, Wasim, Younus and Inzi.

He definitely fixed a match or two under Salim Malik. Pressured or whatever. Felt guilty and retired at age 25 even though some said he was the heir to Miandad’s legacy as Pakistan’s leading bat. I think he’s an honest man though. He gave up his career rather than stay in a squad that fixed matches continuously. Takes courage to do that.
Shane Warne and Mark Waugh publicly accused Malik of offering them money to fix a test match in Pakistan's 1994 home test series.
If they were lying then Malik could have easily sued them of slander or defamation. But he was unable to
Fair enough.
My only criticism would be, why do this now and not many years ago.

Malik thought it would be easy getting back. Taught a lesson.
The ball is back in Malik's court.
Respond to the contents of the transcripts of a conversation that took place in April 2000, or clear-off.
And this is his repsonse:
Lahore: Former Pakistan batsman Saleem Malik has stated that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) asked him to accept match-fixing charges to deceive International Cricket Council (ICC).
Malik said that in 2013, during a meeting with PCB’s high officials. the board asked me to accept charges, get his life ban lifted and start his rehabilitation program.
.......
“They asked me to sign the letter, where I signed it and admitted the charges to deceive ICC in order to get my ban lifted. PCB is using the letter against me which is totally absurd,” he added,” he added.[/B]
........
Fair enough.

Inzi is the one who lobbied for Malik to be forgiven, he is probably regretting it now and for not thinking how this would play out
